2. They've got mass Blue whales weigh up to 200 tonnes, or around 441,000 pounds. |
1 They're ginormous They’re gigantic, they’re enormous, they’re ginormous! Generally ranging in length from 80 to 100 feet (24 to 30 meters), the longest one ever recorded was a magnificent 108 feet long. https://media.treehugger.com/assets/images/2017/01/blue_whale.jpg.450x0_q70_crop-smart.jpg |
https://media.treehugger.com/assets/images/2017/01/blue-whale-size.jpg.480x0_q70_crop-scale.jpg So colossal are these majestic marine mammals, their hearts alone weigh as much as a car. Picture in your mind a 10-story-tall animal walking down the street and you probably start channeling images of Godzilla or King Kong. But if you imagine it as a marine mammal and place it on its side, swimming … now you've got a blue whale.Balaenoptera musculus, the blue whale, is the largest animal ever known to have lived on the planet – movie monsters aside. Even at birth it is one of the world’s biggest animals! The planet is covered with amazing, fascinating creatures, but the blue whale ranks among one of the most superlative. Consider the following. |
Russian junk does not work. It's fvcking ineffective bruh! |
clems88:And the pedestrians ![]() |
jmichlins:You are clearly misinformed. |
Kim Junk Un said he'd sink US Carl Vinson strike group and my question is; Does it occur to Junk that Carl Vinson is a not fishing boat. Nuclear bomb was used to test the sturdynes of earliest aircraft carrier of the United States. |
Let's blame Roaches ![]() |
Messed up state |
Despite the tremendous foredeals of technology, one thing is still certain. It's the doom of mankind. |
Spent 3 billion under 3 years |
This is a challenge to me ![]() |
There's this feelings I always have whenever I see Volvo heavy duty trucks. Those trucks are damn adorable, the power and ruggedness is second to none. |
My dear Ghana is toeing the paths of Kenya ![]() |
Rossikk:It was a mistake, I mean starving. |
Edenoscar:Auto correct I mean they're starving ![]() |
Edenoscar:Spare me that bullshit bruh, North Koreans that are starving nko? |
OjukwuWarBird:You're nuts ![]() |
Are we gonna be slammed with sanctions like North Korea and Iran? Do you think the US and its allies will invade Nigeria? What if our neighbours and other African countries considered us hostile, and form alliace with the US.? (This will give the US and her allies the leverage to station troops and equipments in Ghana, Cameron, Benin Republic and Niger. Just like in eastern Europe, against the Russians). Would you be happy that Nigeria is nuclear armed and won't be bullied in the world stage? No, I won't allow my country to develop nuclear weapons in my state. I'll protest! Let's have your thoughts on this matter. |
Exempted:Buy right here bro, even when I was in Ghana, I bought mine from Nigeria. |
Ironi:Lol, I know you don't mean that ![]() |
hollowpot15684:They're mostly not oriented with core Internet. Most of them are using their phone for social media interactions only. And NO, they're not as freaked as we are. |
MhizTenderly:Yep |
hollowpot15684:MTN and vodafone have got most towns and cities of the country covered with their 4G LTE bands. Still at that, data bundles are priced higher than in Nigeria. |
ifyalways:My first nightmarish impressions was on a conventional food (rice) which Ghanaians failed woefully. I Tell you, Ghana is bereft of cooking instincts. The bolded, you expected me to eat all that? |
Please, include pictures of blue whale, the biggest animal on earth. Precisely, a picture of the giant mammal breastfeeding its baby. ![]() "A baby blue whale drinks about 225 litres (about enough to fill a bath) of its mother’s fat-laden milk (it is 40-50% fat) a day" https://uk.whales.org/sites/default/files/styles/large_carousel/public/species/humpback_whale_megaptera_novaeangliae_15_feb-10-11049.jpg?itok=vHlZOW2L |
They are hugely obsessed with Nigerian entertainment In any party in Ghana, the odd would be in your favor if you predict that 70% of tracks going to be played would be Nigerian. Likewise their taste for Nollywood movies. |
salford:Yup, you're right. There's nothing spectacular in Ghana other than electricity |
Ghanaians are welcoming I still can't forget the dramatic moment I was given a microphone to introduce myself in one Ghanaian church. "My name is 'Nigerian' and I am from Nigeria". The church erupted! It was a photogenic moment as people rushed to shook my hand. On this, I love Ghanaians. ![]() |
Foods in Ghana A foodie? Please, stay back! Otherwise, be ready for some unpleasant surprises. Rice, which is a food to half of the world population can't be made in Ghana without it stinking! Recently, I've been seeing Ghanaians taken us for jollof rice challenge, I bet you my fellow Nigerians, don't dare be lured to eat Ghana jollof, else you're gonna purge good good. You did see how great they made egusi soup, right? Lalasticlala |
Electricity in Ghana With their state of the arts infrastructures and competent electricians, Ghana's electricity is as stable as viagra erected dickk. From the border town of Aflao, up to the remote village of Tumu (A small hamlet boardering Burkina Faso to the north) are all electrified. In Ghana, electricity is your right not a privilege... If a single house in the middle of nowhere could be given one whole transformer, then we're bleeped up as a nation. We've gotta employ those guys at "Volta River authority" to come and help our dearest PHCN. |
Road network in Ghana Roads here are not the best I've seen, most of the inter-city roads are single carriage. Imagine, the only major road that linked Accra to the Commercial city of Ghana Kumasi, is also a single carriage. Like that wasn't enough, from Kumasi to Tamale (the biggest and most populous region) unfortunately, wasn't lucky to escape the prevailing fate, in fact with more road bumps than the hairs on my head. That your waist pain may get more severe after plying that road. .... To the next big thing "electricity". |
