I rejoice with Linda Ikeji for this landmark achievement. Because as a Christian, we were taught that if you rejoice with someone rejoicing, your day of rejoicing will certainly come! I have always been her admirer! I have watched from afar how she had surmounted several challenges and scandals that have confronted her. And I have watched how she had grown stronger and better thereafter! I see Linda Ikeji growing to the mould of Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, the richest woman in Africa!

The lawyer might have been bribed or his life is being threatened, that is why he had to apply to discontinue the matter! How we miss courageous and incorruptible lawyers like Gani Fawehinmi and Timi de Law who would have followed this matter to its logical conclusion!

As it stands now, the matter is not yet heard on merit! This means that proper trial has not yet begun or tested before the claimant decided to discontinue the matter! This also means that anybody can still take up the matter and reinstitute the matter in a court of law!!!
