FYI, the lower house chamber is dominated by APC representatives unlike the senate.

But that's not even the issue. what baffled me is I've never heard or see any republican decamping to democratic party or democrat switching to republican in the U.S. Is it that their constitution forbid that or what. Please political scientist should help clarify this issue to my understanding.

Even your VP respected himself and left party things for Tinubu to concentrate on Abuja works. And you can see he's doing a good job and wisely avoids a clash with Tinubu. If not, there will be a campaign for his replacement.
