Witness has the right to say and state what he observe during the election, The FG does not have the moral right and justification to harass and intimidate witness to state what they did not observe, I am of the opinion that two people can give different account of the life in Nigeria. One may say Nigeria is good country based on his observation, and the other could say Nigeria is worse country based on his findings. Therefore, who among them is right?? The people of River State are saying they have good election, while someone in far north is insisting the election is not fare. The soldiers from Hausa/Fulani origin are saying there was violence, while the policemen that have the Constitutional right to guide the election process are saying what they observe. Think, Nigerians think. |

Tithes were not a part of Christianity until hundreds of years after the death of the Apostles; they were never mentioned by any Council of the Roman sect until 1119. From Francis Howgill's writing: None of the first eight general councils ever mention the name of tithes; but the ninth, held at Lateran, under pope Calixtus the second, in the year 1119, speaks of such as had been given to the Church by special consecration; for at that time, people believing that tithes ought to be given to the poor, gave them to the heads and rulers of religious houses, who disposed of them; keeping open house for the poor and strangers, and were esteemed holy and good treasurers for the poor, as is testified by Cassion. But the council held under pope Alexander the third, in the year 1180, seeing much given to the poor and little to the priests, made a decree to restrain peoples’ freedom. There was no law, canon, or constitution of any general council that commanded tithes, or expressly supposed them a duty, before that of Lateran, in the year 1215, under pope Innocent the third; at which time the pope’s power had grown great. And then the people had greater mind to give them to the poor than to the priests; which made Innocent cry out against those who gave their tithes and first fruits to the poor, and not to the priests, as heinous offenders. At a council held at Lyons, under pope Gregory the tenth, in the year 1274, it was constituted, that it should not thenceforth be lawful for men to give their tithes at their own pleasure, as they had before done, but that they should pay all to the mother church. The great decree which speaks most plainly of them was made at the council of Trent, under pope Pius the fourth, in the year 1560. It commanded tithes to be paid under penalties of excommunication. By what has been stated, it may be seen that tithes were not even reckoned as due for many hundreds of years after Christ; and that indeed they were never due in the Second Covenant, Christ having put an end to the first priesthood, with all its shadows and carnal ordinances. Judaism's tithes were first decreed by the pope and then retained by covetous Protestant organizations. The early Quakers refused to pay tithes and suffered large fines, imprisonment, death, and even banishment from their homeland at the hands of the Protestant priests and magistrates. |
Tithe is one tenth of your produce, it is meant for supplies of foods, wine and basic things in the temple of God, it is meant for food and meat in the temple of God, it is meant for a levite in the temple of God. Now who is a levite?? Descendants of Levi. The work of ministering in the sanctuary was assigned to this tribe. The Levites are sometimes spoken of as distinct from the priests (1 Kgs. 8:4; Ezra 2:70; John 1:19); sometimes as though all Levites were also priests, “the priests, the Levites” (Deut. 18:1; Josh. 3:3). The work of the Levites was to assist the priest (Num. 3:5-10). Do we have levite today?? A person can be a levite if he is a descendant of Levi, and another tribe of isreal cannot claim a levite except he is born a Levi. Can the Gentles function as a levite?? No, even the other tribe of Isreal cannot function as a levite without being born a Levi. Why does God advocate a tithe 1) that their will be food, wine and meat in the place of worship 2) that the levite may also have inheritance through the tithe since they are not permitted to own a personal property or work outside the temple. 3) that the less privilege and sojourn may have means to survive. Does the levite have full access to the tithe?? No, only a portion is allocated to them. And other portion for food, wine and meat in the temple. Do we still have Levitical office Today both Jew and Gentile are one in Christ -- there is no longer any distinction between the two. (Galatians 3:28) In the New Testament Christians constitute spiritual Israel and are the spiritual descendants of Abraham. (Rom. 9:7-8; Gal. 3:7- . The Law of Moses established and supported the Levitcal priesthood. Since Christ was not of the tribe of Levi, He could not have been a priest if that law were still in effect. (Hebrews 7:12-13). Moreover, under the New Covenant all Christians are priests. (1 Peter 2:5, 9). |
Personally, I wonder why in Nigeria we don't have a good forum to discuss occult and magickal issues. In advance and developed places, there are group for study and forums where spiritual development and related matters are discussed. I am hoping to start a forum on this area where nigerians of like mind could come together and reason for good and personal development. |
I am suprised that in nigeria, some people knowns the truth. Moses, Elijah, Solomon etc. Were men of wisdom (mage). Even the bible does not deny the use of supernatural power as seem in the lives of some mage in the scipture. Miracle is the result of supernatural act of divine science. 6 & 7 book of moses, goetia etc are all books of divine science. Use only for help of mankind. |
I have been able to read most of the comments from nairalander, i am surprised that some people don't appreciate a notable pastor like Bakare. this invariably showed that majority of the people here are not real followers of the scripture. in the scripture Real men of God don't waste time to condemn what was wrong, because they see it as injustice to put policies that will inflict humans. but i have always tell my close associates that Government is melt to punish the people, give the people laws that subject them to slavery and lack. those that resist such laws are called rebels. Because of such injustices, there were much bloodshed in the land, less value for live and atrocities. For this, a time will come when there will be a social crusader, who will oppose every authority not recognized by God and will be rebellious to every power that does not recognize that "every human are born to survive and enjoy their little days of living". |
