Godwilling:Bellong...I have gone through the thread again and found my answer. Thank you |
bellong:Thanks Bellong for the reply. Please does this apply to the visa application stage too?. We dont need to show POF even when applying for visa? His occupation(civil engineer) is on the SOL list and we intend to apply for 189. He will be doing the assessment with EA. |

Hello everyone ..pls pardon me for any violation of the rules, am new here. Pls I would like to know if I qualify for any of the entry processes? I have MSC in biomedical science from the Uk. I have never worked except for youth service. I am in the third year of my PhD and am 30 years old. Please help me choose the correct pathway. I am married and my husband is 33. A civil engineer by profession. I have not written the english test yet and I am concerned about the work experience aspect. |
Thanks Bosslady..... I will keep reading to get enough information and also work on the work experience aspect. thank you |
Thank you Bossladymo for you responds. I am 27 years. I am single. I guess i have to focus on the work experience then. Thank you for your help. |
Dear bossladymo, UKBTech and others in the house, good evening, Pls i have been following for sometime now and i am interested in the skill select program. Particularly subclass 189 because that is the only category i think i may be able to fit in at the moment, I have Msc. in biomedical science from England but zero work experience. My question is with lack of work experience will I be able to get the 60 or 65 mark required? My second option is to go for TAFE like walker0809 but my problem is, with a masters degree will they even consider me for visa? I have looked at the requirement for TAFE and they are really basic. Pls PhD is out of the question for me cos I cannot afford it. pls all suggestions are welcome from all members. |
HELLO my people hope everyone is doing well .. please can anyone answer this question below. I saw it in the USA student section but no answer was given as am in a similar situation am wondering whether anyone can help answer this please. am new here so pardon any mistake I might have made in posting this. Hi, fellow nairalanders, i need your assistance and input concerning my situation. I started my undergrad in the UK but missed my renewal date and tried to appeal it for over a year to no avail. I finally decided to come back to nigeria voluntarily and then transfer to the US this year. I applied for my student visa and then got rejected due to a silly error i made in filling my ds-160 - where it asked if you have any family in the us, i answered 'yes'. I truly don't have any family in the US. I guess that was the reason for my rejection because she didnt ask for any of my supporting documents. So here are my questions: 1. Would my previous overstayer status in the uk affect my entry into the us? 2. How do i prove that i have no ties in the us without getting done for misrepresentation? 3. How do i prove my ties at home with my family? (My father, who lives in nigeria is my sponsor) 4. Will my passport get stamped or my name get flagged if i get rejected a second time? |
