A miserable day for the former Chelsea keeper went from bad to worse in the aftermath of Arsenal’s defeat.

Liverpool have defeated Arsenal at home for the first time in seven years following a 3 – 4 win in their opening game of the 2016/2017 Premier League season.

The match was marred by various injuries as Aaron Ramsey, Iwobi, Coutinho were all substituted.

And after plucking four balls from the net in 18 only minutes, the experience goalkeeper reportedly crashed his car.

Goal reports that pictures emerged on social media apparently showing damage to the front bumper , with the goalkeeper having hit a pillar.

He says decision to join the PDP is aimed at getting a viable political platform to actualise his ambition.

Sule says the PDP is the party to beat in the November 26 election.

Niran Sule, a governorship aspirant in the Ondo state, has dumped the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Leadership reports.
This comes just two weeks into the APC governorship primaries set to hold on Sunday, August 27.


According to Sule, his decision to join the PDP is aimed at getting a viable political platform to actualise his ambition.

Sule, a former senior special assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Special Duties made this known in Akure, the state capital, during the submission of the nomination form at the Ali Modu Sheriff PDP faction secretariat.

He said: “It is a function of where the interest of the people of Ondo state lies and how to achieve it. As individuals, we believe that moving forward, as far as the 2016 election is concerned, we need a platform that will allow us to shoulder common responsibilities and progress and development to our people.


“The leaders of the APC today are the same people who left PDP some years ago. So all we need to do is to be sensitive to see where our interest as a people and as a state can be better protected. The same people that worked for President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 were the same people who worked for President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in 2015.”

Sule said the PDP is the party to beat in the November 26 election, and his ambition is to make Ondo state the new economic power base of the nation if he is elected the next governor of the state.

Meanwhile, an aide to Sule, Yomi Adesida, told Sahara Reporters that Sule heard a secret meeting with the factional national leader of the PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff, just before his defection.

The aide also disclosed that among those present at the meeting were the former Governor of Ogun state Gbenga Daniel and the controversial business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim.

He confirmed that the meeting was held at a private location in Abuja and sponsored by Sheriff.

But in a swift response, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, APC publicist said Sule’s defection to the already house of the PDP was comic adding that Sule was never a bona fide aspirant of the APC.

“He never declared his intention to the party at any level in the state, nor does he visited the state party secretariat of our party at 17, Oyemekun Road, Akure.

“Niran Sule never paid to the compulsory Two Million Naira party Development Fee and Five Hundred Thousand Naira expression of interest form even with the Five Million Governor nomination form of the APC.

“So, what makes him an aspirant of our great party. He has no records in our party as an aspirant, and he was never a member but sine he has decided to join the corruption personified and divided house of PDP, we wish him good luck” he said.

The World knows Usain Bolt is the World’s Fastest Man. Naijaloadities know that too. Now the athlete himself wants his competitors to be fully aware of that, too.


If you didn’t know, Bolt, yet again, won the 100m gold medal on Sunday, beating his rivals in an impressive 9.81 seconds.

This is now his third 100m gold medal.


Now to publicly display his dominance, Bolt decided to pose for a photo smiling half-way through the race while his competitors were fighting tooth and nail; straining every inch of muscles to reach him.


May God keep us ahead of our competitors and smiling at them like Usain Bolt.
