Na WA oh! Na so this month voucher use close without president buhari signing the new minimum wage... No wahala sha. Workers day is just two weeks away, I wonder wetin him go tell us that day. |
2ruconfidence:yeah, the loan disbursement will start this month. Meanwhile the house assembly would pass into law some kind of bill allowing the funds already saved for civil servants to be returned to them and a new agreement written that will be favourable to civil servants. I can only advise everyone to pray let this come to fruition |
Please am asking for someone who wants to know how rivers state government pays gratuity and pensions. Is it that on retirement. The retiree gets all the money he or she has been contributing to his pension company and then later, rivers state government will then pay the person gratuity and pension money? |
daddy001:just did. Nothing like that. Prove me wrong by dropping the link here. Good luck |
daddy001:Hahaha. I dey laugh! Wait for the new wage structure to be on the internet first? The wage structure that you're being paid right now, is it on the internet? Give us the link! Abegi, talk better thing . |
dexpee4life:abeg lets stop to be unnecessarily pessimistic. Our governor has already captured its implementation in this year's budget. A bill that has been approved by senate and signed by the president has become a LAW that must be obeyed by everyone |
spatula23:you know what's up and hopefully by this time next month, we will be expected the new approved and signed minimum wage . Na God. |
001bumsa:about time, our rewards should be here on earth and not in heaven |
I think you guys are missing the point, what is the use of the increment of salary as a result of new minimum wage when the government will increase our taxes and VAT? The real value of our income won't appreciate significantly. In another development, why is it that FAAC meetings are being delayed in recent months? |
Apraise:yes since an hour ago, Relax, all banks will pay before the closing hour of today |
001bumsa:3k for NUT dues? |
Caringpro:lol, that's the more reason he needs to do something, so that thousands of Rivers State civil servants will be able to travel to their polling unit and vote for him. On a more serious note, y'all should chill cause it takes four working days for the states to process FAAC allocation, and it was only shared last Thursday. See? So expect alerts between today and tomorrow |
Chibuking81:this money has been shared since Thursday last week, please don't drag us backward with old news, lol |
sam1980000:na wetin inferiority complex dey cause. Lol |
dexpee4life:we will be paid today |
Zenith bank teachers, can you please give us the good news? |
Has there been any FAAC sharing this month? |

I wonder why this zamfara state governor dey speak on behalf of our beloved state. The Zamfara State Governor, Abubakar Yari, has warned the National Assembly against passing a new National Minimum Wage that would be difficult for states to pay. Mr Yari, who is the Chairman, Nigerian Governors Forum, issued the warning in an interview with journalists on the sidelines of the public hearing on new National Minimum Wage bill on Monday in Abuja. The News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) recalls that the organised labour leaders had rejected the approved N27,000 by the National Council of State, demanding N30,000 as a new minimum wage. Reacting to the demand of organised labour, Mr Yari said that the demand for N30,000 as the new minimum was not realistic. According to him, only Lagos State can afford that N30,000 as minimum wage, not even Rivers can pay that much. He said that leaders must tell themselves the truth and not pass figures that would be difficult to implement in the field. Okowa Campaign AD “It is easy to call figures, but when it comes to implementing in the field, it becomes a problem. “Only Lagos can afford the N30,000 as minimum wage, not even Rivers can afford to pay that much,” he said. endy83:the president didn't send separate minimum wages of state and fed workers anymore, he only sent a benchmark of 27k to workers at all levels. Even deputy senate president couldn't hide his astonishment |
Caringpro:mhen, your blood dey hot oh |
Labour rejects 27k minimum wage. NLC general secretary, Peter Ozo-Eson in a telephone interview with AIT said the council has no jurisdiction to determine another amount after a tripartite committee submitted its report The NLC said was unacceptable for Govt to delay the submission of an executive bill to the national assembly and by wrongfully adopt 27,000 nairas through the council of state Ozo-Eson said already the NLC has convoked a national executive council meeting for Friday to weigh the deadline it gave to the government within which to submit an executive bill to the national assembly Labour said the latest government action would only lead to a shutdown of the economy because workers cannot be held responsible for any development after its NEC meeting on Friday. http://aitonline.tv/post-labour_rejects_n27_000_minimum_wage?fbclid=IwAR2H3jeV-Pi-xDqILV_bpQpaOdUIPHK8IJzd-YnITWnhJlFEzy-mCwVUQAE |
kingsjeroneyah:it's 27k that was approved for state workers while federal workers get 30k BREAKING: National Council Of State Approves N27,000 As New Minimum Wage The council approved the amount at its meeting in Abuja on Tuesday. Following the Council’s approval, a minimum wage bill is expected to be sent to the National Assembly on Wednesday. According to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, the Federal Government is topping the approved amount by N3,000 to 30,000 for its workers. He said the states are at liberty to augment the new agreement as they see fit. The amount approved by the Council of State is N3,000 short of the N30,000 that the Tripartite Committee on Review of National Minimum Wage recommended. The committee, chaired by a former Head of Service of the Federation, Ms Ama Pepple, had submitted the report, which contained the recommended figure, to President Muhammadu Buhari on November 6, 2018, after many months of deliberations. Prior to the committee’s recommendation, in October, state governors had offered to pay N22,500 as minimum wage. Nine days after the committee recommended N30,000, on November 15, the Nigeria Governors’ Forum insisted that the states cannot pay the amount, leading to criticism by organised Labour which insisted on N30,000. On January 8, 2019, the Nigeria Labour Congress held a nationwide protest over what it said was the delay by the Federal Government to transmit a new minimum wage bill to the National Assembly |
