the smart man said some of the people that are owed are fake teachers and ended his talk with saying WHAT EVER TEACHERS ARE GOING THRU TODAY WILL MAKE THEM STRONGER TOMORROW... chai,politicians ehh

I called one of my father's boy who is a senior accountant in the Ministry of Finance yesterday and he said salaries will be paid next week unless they hear otherwise from the Governor between yesterday and Friday. My Zonal Director also told me yesterday evening that we shouldn't expect salary this week but we will be paid three months salary next week. I thought it wise to share this information in this forum.

Hmmm, it is nw too glaring d reasons why most people do nt wan't to be a Primary/secondary school teacher. I like teaching but God FORBID that i should end dis career in primary/secondary school, NEVER! However, Lecturing in Higher institutions are where d flavour of teaching job can be found and i would do all it requires to see myself there because with what am seeing it is axiomatic that Primary/secondary schools teaching jobs are meant for women. Imagine five months without pay and no one is coughing even our Almighty NUT has turned into a paper tiger. Can this Govt dare Lecturers with this kind of expensive joke?

guy look at it from this angle. if you were the man. and was assured that everything has been sorted, will you still go there and bad mouth the government? lets be positive, our salaries owed will be paid.

Happy Teachers' Day!Kudos to all teachers, including myselffor being a good teacher. Let me use this opportunity to call on the Government of Rivers State to pay up all salaries owed teachers, runnin to about 7 months. There is no praise and worship in the grave. Hunger kills. Even if the take-home pay cannot take us home, please, pay teachers!!

I've been going thru this MMM thing here and decided not to bring BAD MARKET to anyone's hustle.
guys accept this as my independence gift MMM is a neat scam which will surely come crashing one day. The thing is no one knows that day yet. What sharp guys on MMM are now doing is to create a whatsapp group where theyshare information with a view to protecting their money. The day they will see MMM asking everyone to pay money to the SAME account.thats the red flag. They pull the plug and cashout all their money in it.. I think you should do the same.THANK ME LATER

zenith people should expect arrears of alerts before the day runs out. as for the rest it will continue Tuesday next week. have a blissful weekend.

If you know any old teachers in your school whose salary account is Zenith Bank, please confirm from them whether they truly received three months salary arrears. This is only applicable to those LGAs who are still being owed salary arrears ranging from four to six months. Someone in Tai LGA informed one of my colleagues yesterday that old teachers that were transferred to their school whose salary account is Zenith Bank received three months salary arrears. I also received a call from someone in Eleme LGA today stating that he heard that those in Zenith Bank have received three months salary arrears. This kind of info needs to be confirmed by members of this forum whose salary account is Zenith Bank and are still being owed salary arrears. I believe that this forum is for sharing of vital information. When you are not informed, you are deformed. Thanks.

I don't need any assumption as to whether my money is in fixed deposit. All l know is that from now till next week , they will pay us all our money ( 5/6 months).

On a serious note, the ministry had concluded everything that has to do with our payment , sooner than expected it will start dropping in.

And again tomorrow is a meeting with all heads/principal at the school board.

Pls do well to inform the house of any relevant information or the outcome of the meeting... Thanks

Now that it's obvious that our salary arrears were fixed deposited by d so called "Bad Eggs" the questions that are begging for answers nw which i urge those who knows somebody that knows somebody to help us find d answers to are (1) For how many Months did dey fix d money? (2) when would d fixed deposited money (expire) mature ? I asked because with d look of things our salary arrears can only be paid at d expiration of its fixed deposition to the Bank.

ain't we forgetting something here? the interest nkor? what percentage will we be entitled to? since its our monies that is used here.

Considering past payment method on salary alert, If Fidelity pay before Zenith just know that you are no more in Rivers State but now in Ghana or Cotonou. Because ever since i started this work Zenith has always lead the payment... I may be wrong, but that is from my own experience.

@texxx can you kindly ask that friend of yours if the payment is for this month September or our past arrear(s)?

I think the Gov is not the issue here.... But pple working in schools board plus the governors commissioners....these monies have been signed for payment but these bad eggs will not let labourers get their pay for what is due them. They fix deposit our salaries and get to eat from the profit thereof leaving the owners of these monies to suffer.. I cannot imagine how people will sit and watch others wail for their entitlement even when they know they are the cause of their wailing...shortly after I got this job, there was this bonus of 11k that came in during the Christmas season and some of us collected tru the LGs while some tru their Banks.... As I write this , I nor use eye see bonus nor ear hear say them share bonus to anyone in my school. (Css Omuanwa)..
I still Ave 3months arrears accumulated during Amaechi's regime to be paid.. Right Now am not talking about that but my fears are maybe that will also be forgotten like the 11k bonus... (I pray otherwise).
No man will confidently say he's paid workers their salaries if he hasn't... Truth is...... Wike has paid but bad eggs won't let it get to us as at when due..
