Good evening, please I am also interested in this case because I had a similar experience.. I applied for SOWP and visit visa for my kids 5years and the other 2years when PPR dropped it dropped only for me and my youngest son but didn't get PPR for my eldest son..

Pease I need help and advice on this issue. We applied as a family (Father SOWP and Children VV) Everyone got PPR except 2 (Ages 18 & 11). For the 18 yrs old, below is -

Application - January 3, 2023
Submission Confirmation -January 3, 2023
Biometrics Collection Letter January 3, 2023
Correspondence Letter - April 26, 2023

After several mails and webform, we got a reply from Nairobi that PPR has been sent since May 18th, 2023. But we dont have it. We have replied with several screenshot that we do not have it, but no luck.
NOTE: The VIS NO is showing on tracker.
Kindly advice.

Praise God for His faithfulness
I applied for SOWP self sponsored for myself and my two kids Got our PPR on Monday 8th May.

Here is our timeline:

Submitted: 24th of February
Biometrics: 3rd of March
Upfront Medicals: 21st of February
Medicals Updated on the portal: 21st of April
Sent Webform and emails for our Medicals to be updated: 21st of April
Eligibility review started: 5th of May
Correspondence Letter: 8th of May
Original Passport Request: 8th of May

I just want to use this to encourage everyone that might still be expecting their PPR. It will definitely Land this month In Jesus Mighty Name, just believe and keep professing and declaring what you want to see.

Here is my observation about my process and a lesson for first time applicants like myself.

When the PPR Landed IRCC only sent for me and my second son who is 2years, they didn't send message to my 5year old son.
We had applied visitors visa for both of them,
We didn't know at the time of submission that we were meant to apply for study permit for my 5year old son. Thank God for this great platform and for the wonderful and selfless nairalanders who have always come to the rescue of thousands of people..

To the GURUS pls come to our rescue
Does this mean that I have to put in for a fresh application for him?

Is there a way I can expedite his process?

Do we need to provide proof of funds for him?

What are all the documents I need to submit for his study permit?

Do I need to get admission for him?

Pls I need to swing into action asap as time is of essence..

Ok.. So guys this is for every one having issues with the video stuff. It's quite easy and here is the easy way out.
First off record your video and make sure it doesn't exceed 3 mins.
For those who can't record at a stretch get a phone (preferably) that allows u to pause a video while recording and then continue ( not all phones allows that). So u can pause after each question get urself together for the next question and just hit the play button to continue the recording.
Use ur phone front camera ( has a smaller pixel hence lesser quality and size), the size of a video recorded using a phone should be a lot smaller than that of a computer (I guess).
Secondly when u are satisfied with what u have recorded try checking for the details/ properties of the video you have just recorded under options, that shows u the size of what you have. Trust me it would be more than 100mb.
Thirdly now what u need to do for all android phones go to play store to download a very good video compressor app.. I can recommend one ( I used video panda compressor). Very easy to use, open app n just follow instructions to compress. Amazingly it compressed a 190mb video to 6mb, that was for small quality so I felt it was too low so I tried large quality option and now I have 47mb. Save the video
Lastly upload it on GQ platform. U will be amazed at the speed of upload, the quality of picture and sound.
For all those who would find these tips quite helpful Thank me later.
