Okay, Thank you very much

As a first-time traveler, I'd suggest having enough documentation that shows ties to your home country. Job, pension, family, landed property where possible and any other thing that shows you have significant ties back home.

Finally got a message to come collect my passport yesterday. I went there today. They refused my application, the reason they gave was that the information regarding the justification of the purpose and conditions of intended stay was not reliable, after three months of keeping my passport. Can anybody help me explain better this reason, and what I should do to avoid this in my next application

My is Feb, I haven’t gotten a response yet from the Embassy regarding my Passport. I’m still waiting.
Milito:

I agree with you Milito, I think it will be better we wait it out because the guy we submitted together on the 8th of Feb. his own passport has being return since late match. They refuse his application. It was then the Embassy wrote an email to me for to submit Additional documents to back up my application , So I’m believing ours (Application ) will come back positive. Because I see no reason why they will hold on to our application that long , if they are not to grant the visa . My our thoughts

I think its just to wait it out.

Although you can also get the email of the embassy and send them emails especially if your intended travel date is close.

I did that to Spain sometimes ago when my application was delayed. I kept bombarding them with emails intimating them about my approaching travel date.

When it was about a week to my travel date, I started sending them daily emails with my flight booking and event registration showing event date.

They finally issued the visa and released my passport just a day to the travel date, eventually making me miss the event, though I still got the visa.

I had thought it was just me alone, I submitted my own application on the 8th of February, though I was later sent an email for to submit additional documents of proof of funds for period of intended stay. Which I submitted on the 5th of March. Omo I have not heard from them since ooo nor my passport returned to TLS back for collection, So you are not alone on these delay. Reason for the delay I don’t know. My question is, your application is it for tourist or family reunion?

Please how did you do it,because I did my biometric and submitted my passport since 26th of January up until today I've not heard anything from them. Please anyone with any help information please help.
