Apparently he was fleeing for his life, since the Military came for a man whom the court granted bail, and who met all the conditions.
If the question is put before him, explanations shouldn't be far fetched, but going after a man, due to appear in court with the military not police, and most likely, without an arrest warrant can't be justified.

Instigating violence? To an extent yes.
Calling for forceful take over of power? That can only be called treason when he attempts it.
He is agitating for a nation out of Nigeria, not taking the seat of Nigeria's power. That's not treason.

He is not...Nnamdi Kanu didn't commit treason, and the location where he was picked up hasn't been disclosed.

If Malami is so sure of the procedure of "arrest", he should at least disclose the location of pickup and documents of transfer to Nigeria.

Kanu on his part might not have ticked all the boxes correctly, but Malami and his people didn't notify the UK, seeing Kanu's Nigerian passport is expired.
