A stranger chatted me on Facebook, after the usual salutation he asked where I was chatting from. I mentioned Lagos, after which he said he used to reside in Lagos too, along Lakowe area but that he has moved to PH, after getting a good job. That he gets paid $225 weekly where he works now.

On another day he asked if I was interested in working in his company, I obliged, he asked to forward my CV. I did, it took some weeks, about 3 weeks. Then a lady called me on the phone this morning informing me of an interview for 14th October, 2024.

I decided to do a search online, the guy told me the company name was GI group of company, the lady told me QI group of company. A search using GI group of company, returns a legitimate international company with presence in Nigeria named GI group holding https://www.gigroupholding.com/country/nigeria/. I decided to add "GI group of company nairaland" as my search term and it landed me here.

I really appreciate that nairaland keeps saving us from scams. Please people let's keep it up.

It would have been a total waste of time, resources, funds etc.

Thank you very much for the review. I applied and got an invite by them for IT/Social Media Manager post. I have been doing a background check to see if they are worth my time before even going.

In stream 2, as a matter of fact I called the NYSC help line and was told to just wait and reprint my slip when stream 2 is reprinting. So today I tried to reprint but it still shows me the same date for the and place for stream 1. Please can any one help me?

I have seen all your messages concerning those who miss stream 1 being able to serve under stream 2. Is this info credible, cos I will be so glad. I can't make it to stream 1. I will be so glad if I will be posted for stream 2.

Guys please I need advice, I was mobilized for A16 but due to some unresolved issues at my workplace I cant go. How do I reject callup letter (like it used to be done, before online printing started). And how do I ensure that I am mobilized for next batch of NYSC that is B16.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Its wrong for this joke to come from a celebrity, his reputation is at stake. Calling on glo to terminate his appointment is also too harsh, hn shd be warned and if such thg repeats then the harsh one shd come.
