Human Rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) has in a new interview revealed that former Chief Of Army Staff, Lt Gen. The lead counsel for arrested Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho, has narrated how he was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic. He said: “As at today (Wednesday) Sunday Igboho is still in police detention in Benin Republic, specifically in Cotonou. While they were fighting with the brother, he was bundled back into the plane heading to Germany; he was the one in Germany now, not Igboho. “He was already in the plane in Cotonou on his way to Germany with his wife and his brother was there too. Somebody fingered him out that he is a wanted person. Barrister Franklin Ufu, the cousin to the deceased and murdered Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga has said the prime suspect of his death, Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu could not have killed him all by herself, giving some circumstances surrounding his death. Franklin Ufu, said the late Usifo was stabbed so badly in his stomach that a hole was created as two fingers could enter it. He added that he was stabbed deliberately on his Jugular vein, and stabbed multiple times too. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has assured that the separatist would be released soon. Ejiofor made the assurance while stressing that the Nigerian government lacked strong evidence to use in convicting Kanu. In a statement, Ejiofor urged Kanu’s supporters to be patient and prayerful.
