Venue: Ado-odo/Ota Local Government Council Event Centre, Ogun State



2. Further to our online survey carried out among graduates registered on the GIS platform and the interest you indicated to participate, I am to invite you to the event as scheduled. At the event, you will meet and be interviewed by organizations interested in your skills. Should any organization find you suitable, you will be matched to them, complete all documentation process and immediately deployed.



3. Consequent to the above, you are expected to bring along the following to the venue of the event:

o This invitation letter ( without which you will not be allowed into the venue)

o All relevant credentials including Degree/HND certificate and NYSC discharge certificates or evidence of exemption (bring originals)

o Valid government issued identity card (driver's license, national identity card, international passport, permanent voters card)

o 2 copies of your current passport photograph and a photocopy of your Valid Identity card

4. Please note that attendance at this event does not guarantee selection for internship. Your selection will be determined by the availability of firms interested in your skills and your ability to demonstrate required competence. You are therefore urged to come prepared to impress the firms for the limited spaces available.

CARRY ON. YOU WILL BE MADE TO BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL BE EARNING FAR MORE THAN YOUR PRESENT JOB IN NIGERIA BUT IN REALITY IT MAY BE LESS. You start with security job here, you'll most likely stay in that line. Maybe after 2 years you might become security supervisor. Is it really worth it. The bloody agent might even be lying to you about the security job. It might be cleaning job where you will be working 6 days a week 40 hours every day with salary of 30000 equivalent in naira and living with 10 other people in room 300sqft in size. Loads of people in the UAE are where you are this very moment, agent telling them they will earn five figures in dirhams....even giving them contract letter showing all the good stuff in the job till they come here and see something else.

Stay clear of this agents...you are there source of income they will tell you whatever you want to hear to get money from you. Why not try other countries like canada, australia.

Maybe this thread should be closed....it serves more of an avenue for agents to get potential clients/victims rather than what it really is supposed to do.
