While I agree that state allocation has increased but when you look at it in term of value before subsidy removal and the value now , you will notice that it has not actually been increased. Eg fuel was N187 per liter but now N760 likewise other items Kushites: YOU ARE WRONG.
THE STATES' ALLOCATION SINCE THE END OF FUEL SUBSIDIES HAS MULTIPLIED BY 5 OR 6 TIMES.
SO THEY ARE BUILDING MORE PROJECTS THAN EVER BEFORE.
ALL THE STATES ARE NOW VERY BUSY IN INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT, NOT JUST ABIA.
OF COURSE MOST OF YOU NEVER TRAVEL ROUND THE COUNTRY, SO YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON. |

The Channel Island of Jersey is a self-governing dependency of the British Crown located in the English Channel, near France. The authorities in Jersey have agreed to repatriate more than $9.5 million (£7 million) linked to so-called “tainted property” to the Nigerian government, according to the BBC. The Channel Island of Jersey is a self-governing dependency of the British Crown located in the English Channel, near France. The funds, traced to a Jersey bank account, were adjudged to be proceeds of corruption and will be returned to Nigeria under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in December by Jersey’s Attorney General, Mark Temple KC, and Nigerian authorities. According to the report, the agreement builds on two earlier asset recovery deals between Jersey and Nigeria, which previously led to the repatriation of over $300 million (£230 million) in looted funds connected to the late military dictator Sani Abacha’s era. BBC reports that in January 2024, Jersey’s Royal Court ruled that the funds were more likely than not derived from a corrupt scheme in which third-party contractors diverted Nigerian government funds for the benefit of senior Nigerian officials and their associates. Confirming the development, Nigeria’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), said the recovered assets would be deployed strictly in accordance with the terms of the MoU. “The successful recovery and repatriation of the forfeited assets underscores the effectiveness of Nigeria's collaborative efforts with its international partners in ensuring that there is no safe haven for illicitly acquired wealth or assets moved to foreign jurisdictions,” Fagbemi said. He added that the money would be channelled into infrastructure, specifically contributing to the final stages of a major highway linking Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, to the country’s second-largest city, described as a vital transport corridor. On his part, Jersey’s Attorney General, Mark Temple KC, said the latest recovery demonstrated the effectiveness of the island’s legal framework in tackling corruption. “The strength of our civil forfeiture legislation as a powerful tool in the fight against corruption,” Temple said. The most senseless comment I have ever seen in my live. DomPerignon: Every building earmarked for demolition plus those already demolished have seen to their owners duly compensate.
The people affected by this road are not complaining rather it is one embittered and ever bad belle Obidient who have been opposing this project from beginning without any coherent argument why they are against it that are still crying over this project.
Well, I know the reason you guys oppose this project is because:
1. You see the coastal communities developing when this project is complete and this is painful for you since you want those lands pristine and empty so that whenever you do your annexation you all can have vacant prime coastal lands to occupy.
2. You see this road as building direct commercial, cultural and physical direct connections between the SS and SW forever alienating you in your landlocked evil forests.
If you like cry from now till you die, the road project is a blessing and boost to the long delayed economic development of the SS which has been feeding your parasitic ingrates in that your barren SE. |

Politics › Alex Otti Inspects Bus Terminal As Project Nears Completion by Good2go1(op): 9:25am On Jan 09 |
Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has inspected the ongoing construction of the Umuahia Central Bus Terminal, expressing satisfaction with the quality and pace of work as the project approaches completion.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State, Njoku Ukoha, on Wednesday.
It was stated that the governor inspected the project on Wednesday, as part of a broader tour of infrastructure projects being executed by his administration across the state.
Speaking to journalists at the site, Otti explained that the decision to construct a central bus terminal was aimed at addressing the inefficiencies caused by multiple, scattered transport parks within the city.
He said centralising transport infrastructure was a global best practice that would enhance orderliness and improve commuters’ experience.
“It is nothing new; it has been done elsewhere. When you go to the UK, Paddington Terminal ensures convergence of the railway and other means of transportation.
“And of course you have shopping plaza, cinema, hotel, everything is there. So, we thought we should concentrate all those transport terminals in this place instead of having different terminals at different places in the town,” Otti said.
The governor commended the consultants and contractors handling the project, noting that the standard of work met his administration’s expectations.
“The work is going on very well. And the consultants are very, very up to the task. I’m happy with the progress of work. I’m glad with the level of progress and with the quality of work,” he said.
Otti expressed optimism that the project would be substantially completed before the end of January, while stressing that quality would not be sacrificed for speed.
“Hopefully, before the end of this month, they would have gone far. But, what I see here gives me an impression that by the end of the month, if they haven’t completed, they would be very close to completing it.
“But, even if they need more time, I’ll give them more time because it’s better done right the first time. But, so far so good,” he stated.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Transport, Chimezie Ukaegbu, said the terminal was designed to serve as a one-stop transport hub for commuters within and outside the state.
“We just wanted to centralise all transport activities, and that was why His Excellency, in his wisdom decided to build a central bus terminal to stand as a one-stop transport hub for all commuters, passengers, and travellers,” Ukaegbu said.
“Whatever mode of transport you want to use to travel, once you come into the central bus terminal, you’ll be able to get it,” he added.
According to him, all existing motor parks in Umuahia would be relocated to the terminal, with similar infrastructure planned for Aba.
“All the parks in Umuahia will be brought in here. We are going to have a centralised park system in Umuahia and Aba. You know, we are also building the same in Aba, which will be completed hopefully by May,” he said.
Beyond the bus terminal, Otti also inspected ongoing road construction works around Cooperatives and the Ahiaeke–Okwuta–Bende Road.
At the Ahiaeke–Okwuta–Bende Road project, the governor was received by a representative of Craneburg Construction Company, Yousef Tawk, who briefed him on the progress of work.
Otti engaged the contractor on technical concerns, particularly regarding a section of the road with a valley by the side, and urged that lasting solutions be implemented. He also charged the contractor to ensure the road is completed before the onset of the rainy season.
The governor further interacted with passengers and crew members of the Abia Electric Buses, which have been offering free transportation services to residents and visitors since their launch in December, to assess their performance and compliance with operational guidelines.
Otti was accompanied on the inspection tour by the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Obi Aguocha; the General Manager of the Umuahia Capital Development Authority, Kingsley Agomuo; and other government officials. https://punchng.com/otti-inspects-bus-terminal-as-project-nears-completion/?fbclid=IwY2xjawPNmexleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAwzNTA2ODU1MzE3MjgAAR6ORNx5XU5w5zM0bQXJ00dmq65KHLH_dNur3jBI9xcsFL56hP0NfZuKldSHTA_aem_5_X0UmSyeSevw2L40adLEA

You forget to consider generator fuel money anyone that works for home run generator more frequently as power is required to work from home ibechris: That is roughly 450k per month.
To start with,u need to first open to ur wife and tell her how much u earn and give her all the necessary clues.
50k multiply by 5= # 250k that is,if u work from home.
The remaining balance of about 200k can then be saved,so as to save u in the future. |
