Guy pls am in dilemma right now, I applied for MSc chemical engineering, wrote the entrance exam and never heard anything from them. after writing the exam, I was not even able to check my score, now this very yesterday evening, I got this email from the department:

February 14, 2015




In respect of your admission to UNILAG to study M.Phil Chemical Engineering, please forward your research proposal, correct phone number, proposed supervisors if you have anyone (not compulsory) on or before Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 to my mail box. You can also call or text me on 080********. This is urgently needed to complete your admission process.

Please what should I do?

Am waiting for any good reply on the process to follow.

just saw d lecture time table nd im discouraged, 5_ 8 pm lectures?! I may have to forfeit d admission. it.doesn't work for me.

and to think I opted for pt just cz I wanted my lecture days to be weekends.... bad deal.

Akell, to be sure, is it best to pay ONLY d obligatory fee at access bank (am tinking of payin d 62k first) I heard once dat only first bank, unilag branch, is d only one acceptin jst obligatory fee..

I have done my registration to a reasonable place. I have signed and stamped my course form at the Bursary, just waiting for department to sign and i go to multipurpose hall to complete my registration at SPGS.

The earlier you register the better and good chance to get accomodation

Make Unilag calm down o abi which 1 is 4 unsealed transcripts? Are we supposed to request for 4 copies from our school or what ? I no understand o abi they think say to collect transcript na free of charge

You sound really daft. Wow, you must be so intelligent to have scored 65.88. Did you miss the part where I mentioned I got 70+ last year? I was admitted but didn't accept the offer. Infact, i had the second highest score last year. So I have the experience and when I say this year's test was cheaper, you should know I have adequate knowledge of what i'm saying. More than four times the number of people who took the test this year did last year, so last year's competition was stiffer. Pls don't let me vent my anger on you ok? Unilag ripped many us of our deserved marks and here u are spilling balderdash. Let's assume I did poorly, what bout braine? this is someone I can attest to his intelligence.

Do people who are not sure of their performances call for their scripts? Maybe they do so in your alma-mata, definitely not mine.

Mind you, similar stuff happened last year when people with lesser aggregates were offered admission while people who scored higher were omitted. Cos of this, a female nairalander who was a victim of this fraud last year refused to put in this year despite my persuasion.

I hope this would down the tension on us all. Wahever you score is, just add 20+ to it, that's your overall score. I'm just coming from my department in UNILAG, and that's what it is. #ItIsWell
