I hear people say since when they were born, they have been hearing about the sentence that says JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON. And most of them have been asking themselves when will He actually come.

Hebrews 9 vs 28 says Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time apart from sin, for salvation” .


The truth is that because He hasn’t come does not mean he will not come because the bible says He will come.

Are you still eagerly, constantly, and patiently waiting for His coming or the situation, confrontations and struggle of this world have made you back out?

If we recognize that all earthly things are someday going to fade away from us, then craving for material possession, trying to run away from struggle, and seeking for vainglory will matter less to us.

I refuse to believe that your situations, struggle, pain, poverty and confrontations are the reason why you have backed out from the heavenly race.

The truth is that you have set your heart on the things of the world, the riches of it, the sweet and temporary part of it.

What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? Let's turn away from physical indulgence, for earthly pleasure leaves no permanent gratification.

A lot of these ‘I love you’, ‘I am in love’ that we hear and see all around is actually not true. Most of those scenes are repeated motions of an infatuated heart.

LOVE IS PEACE; Peace cannot be faked hence it is the diameter to measure love. The square root of Love of Peace. No matter the affluence to convince you or the influence to confuse you, if you do not find peace, forget it. It is not love.

LOVE IS A PROCESS; Even without a Prophetic outlook, I can tell that most of these relationships are fake and do not carry an inch of love in it. Love does not jump or spring up, it grows and develops.

LOVE IS UNDERSTANDING; You know there are a lot of people who will say because of they love you, they expect A, B, C and D from you at once. Watch it well, it may not be. Love understands, if things are what it is supposed to be at the immediate, love can understand and wait for the better.

LOVE IS COMMITMENT; You do not preach love, you show it. You do not need to shout or kill to prove your love. There is a commitment level that makes love sweet to the giver and the receiver.

If he is not giving time, money, mind and resources to make it work, it is not love.

LOVE IS FAITHFUL; He says he loves you but you can count other ‘small small’ relationships around him. She says she loves you too, but do not want to break out of her former relationship. Oh, because the guy disvirgined her? That again is not love. If I love you, I will be with you totally.

LOVE IS FUTURISTIC; If you can not hold the future of both of you together, please step aside. If you can not authenticate the hope to be together tomorrow, then review it. Every love affair, as a gaze into better days ahead.

LOVE IS GODLY; An insincere man can never love genuinely. An uncompromising woman can not give love. God is love and to love faithfully, you must understand the principles that generate love.

A man went on a journey to a retreat in a lonely mountain. He fasted for many days on the mountain with so much enthusiasm.

However, after much prayer and fellowship of purity in the spirit, he came down on rest in a room. He was offered accommodation by a pretty fairly skinned damsel in enticing clothes. He began to speak in tongues, couldn’t resist her any longer, behold he ended up in the bosom of her legs.

Hmmm, feeling disgusted and drained of hope, he decided to go to the upper room for a warfare prayer. He prayed for one week full of excitement because he thought he had been able to break the chains of sexual Temptation.

When he was done, he went home and this time he promised to be watchful, strict with the opposite sex, prayerful and very spiritual. On getting home, the young minister was about having his rest, only to be alerted that a young sister needs urgent attention and prayer.

The sister was ushered into the room, she sat on his bed with much pretence. The minister played his hands on the young lady and started praying. Only for the lady to bounce on him naked with her protruding hips, good looking shape, pretty voice and seducing moves. The young minister ended up praying her unto his bed.

He fornicated with her and later filled with remorse, looking confused, shattered and devastated. Already caught in the shackles of sexual sin, he shambled wearily. He wept and promised God never to fail him again.
