My younger brother of 22 years attacked me this morning after taking a substance called crystal methamphetamine popularly known as ice. For the past one year now, he has been giving everybody in the house heat. Ranging from insulting people, picking money in the house, eating food that is not his own, Bullying everybody in the house, wearing clothes without washing and not even thinking of sweeping, fatching water or washing the plates in the house.
I was looking at him, hoping and believing he will change for good. But as days passes by, it's becoming worst. Yesterday, he wanted to fight our mom, I prevented him and I warned him not to even raise his voice at her again. I tried fighting him but my Mom pleaded with me not to attack him...
This morning, while I was still in bed, my elder sister called me and said my brother was trying to break the padlock to my bag so he could collect clothes from it. With my sleepy eyes and subconsciousness, I went outside just to collect my bag from him.. I dragged the bag from him, the next thing I felt was a heavy punch to my face.. That was when I realized that this was no longer a joke. I quickly responded by trying to him back. We exchanged punches and he ran away. Till now, he has not come back. He added that everybody should be ready for him.
Sometimes, I wonder if he is truly my brother. I sustained an injury on my nose from his punch. He doesn't want to change for good. Sometimes, I do ask some of his friends that take ice why is he behaving like that. They will tell me that I should look for what is wrong with him.... I feel so bad because he's my only brother
