Economies of scale and such Yah it would,All of the ships you see are going out of service next year(Except for the one OPV)So the government has probably started searching for replacements,as for IPV's I believe we bought some patrol boats, a landing craft and fast interceptors from SA last year(about 20 or so) |

Henry120: The training seems rigorous enough. My only problem is the use of AK-47's for a specialised unit.
I know most people would say the AK-47 is very rugged, but didn't they (top brass) see up-graded AK-74's in the market?". The Ak's are only brandished for public display other wise the standard issue for Marines and special forces is an M4A1,You will rarely see a pic of marines carrying M4's the military is very secretive about them |
