I remember growing up in the suburb of Lagos state specifically mushin local government during the mid 90's it was football and table tennis that was the inn thing and only bad boyz played snooker but suddenly shops started opening and primary and secondary school children started seeing funny like creature one could control and we paid #5 to play a set of Mario popularly called ee bo lo ma kusi.. we thought that was where it will stop but we where wrong Sega and Nintendo game came out almost together and I saw my school grade drop to earth. some of my friends had to steal their parent money just to get the thrill of playing these games. Gambling became the order of Game houses when Play station 1 became the inn thing and game houses became naira bet one could bet on anything, first corner, first to score, first to get a yellow card . Now we have PS 2 and PS 3 and so many other games instead of seeing game houses around my neighborhood what am seeing now are sign post of naira bet and surebet.. what I Dont understand is where did all the game houses go?? 2 Likes 1 Share |

frank317:I believe there is a way to explain God to him and I just realise that we Christains including me have taken God for granted by just relying on the bible alone as prof that God exist which to me is not right. My people perish for lack of knowledge and its true. I ve become an atheist and a demon overnight because I asked a ? but one thing I must achieve on this platform is to get what I want and that will be to explain God to my Brother |

I Dont believe all I need to do is to take him to church every Sunday.. that will make him familiar with God in Nigeria and when he goes back to the state next two weeks would he still ve that conviction.. I want day to day example so that tomorrow he will ve the perfect faith of what he believes in 1 Like 1 Share |

I have been trying for the past three (3) hours now to explain the concept of God to my six year old half brother. who recently just returned from the states. I tried reading using the bible and he asked me the most difficult but simple question. Big brother where did God come from if you said there was nothing in world!! I dropped the bible immediately. I tried using nature to explain that the beautiful flowers, birds and sea were created by God. Then he asked me who created God because mama bird and papa bird will have junior bird and for the flowers I need to plant its seed for them to grow.. so big brother who is papa God 13 Likes 4 Shares |

proverb 22:1 said a good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, loving favour, silver or gold. but I wonder if this verse is ever practised in Nigeria let's take a look at it. It is only in nigeria where riches and fame worth more than good name take a look at Mr Bukola Saraki he has opened up more than seven corrupt gate since he emerged as the senate president. this enigma of a man have been in one controversy or the other. what I Dont get is if the position he occupies is worth it.. 1) Dual citizenship 2) falsification of senate standing order 3) kwara state fund embezzlement 4) falsification of asset declaration 5) his close associate Kennedy Izuagbe made a wanted man by EFCC.. who does good name EPP!!! if u can get your name smeared and still be the number three man in the most populous black nation in the world it makes me wonder who good name epppp!!!! |
