Religion / Re: As A Christian Is It Possible To Practice First Fruit In This Harsh Economy by Graficient: 1:36pm On Jan 14
guobe:
It is the start of a new year and most Christians do practice the act of fresh fruits whereby your first salary in the year or fresh profit of business, first money of your new marriage etc is given to the church.
In this harsh agbado economy in Nigeria,is it possible to practice the act of giving first fruits.

"Of you first fruits", Not all your fruits.

As a business man, your first fruit is the first sales you make in the new year. As a worker, your salary is calculated based on a daily amount that is paid once at the end of the month. That means your increase is daily for each working day. that daily amount is your first fruit.

Cane and Abel were the first people to give God "of their first fruits". It wasn't all the harvest, but a portion of it. God accepted one and rejected the other.

Ode, you don't know that most houses in asaba are built by Onitsha-based business men. In fact, asaba is a spill over development from onitsha.
Biggest ode, I didn't dispute that some of the houses were built by Anambra people. But you should be asking yourself why those on rent in Asaba decided to be paying the extremely high rents in Asaba instead of staying at onitsha where you claim rent is cheap. Ekpa

Onitsha has the most affordable house rent in the whole of the country. May be because of the large number of high rise blocks of flat the city is known for.

NLC Delta State walked pass the state Secretariat and took their protest elsewhere. Offices are still open, workers moving freely. I expected them to protest at the Secretariat gates because that's the seat of government workers in the state. Bunch of deceivers

As the car stopped, not fully recovered from the shock, I heard bell rang and students started running out of their classes towards the gate. It happened I dodged into a public school while avoiding accident on the main road. God's mercy saved me

Most of you should just keep quiet. Attend seminars, get books about marriage and relationship, read and learn now and stop buying some of these nonsense.
Build your finances and have specific life goals before you look for a partner that you are not only physically compatible with but you two can align your goals and work together as a team.
Build capacity, learn about the fear of God, learn understanding, tolerance, patience, how to love and respect. Don't jump into marriage thinking you will be able to learn everyday without the basic foundations. You might just crash before you start.

Food / Re: Which Food Can #1,000 Cook That Will Last For 3days? by Graficient: 7:21pm On Jul 21, 2023
Garri quarter painter #400, okro #100, oil #200, crayfish #100, ugu #100. Maggi #50, pepper #50. Borrow the rest from your neighbors. Enter bush gather firewood to cook it. If you are lucky you see bushmeat catch or snails.
Better still open up to friends and family. Even strangers can help. Don't die in silence.
After eating go look for work, enter building sites worst case. Use your brain and work something out.
Even this your post, I know say na part of hustling whether true or not

The only thing way cheap here na accommodation
But price of food na war....the worse part is that there is no one single company or industry to work in Benin city and the funny thing is that price of things dey increase anyhow here for Benin city
