Honestly speaking, when breaking a fast, we are faced with the temptation of eating everything we see in front of us at the same time but that will have an adverse effect on us nd overburden our digestive system. The best benefit of fasting is realized when a fast is broken properly. Taking it slow and easy is not only kind to your body, but allows you the opportunity to integrate your new-found clarity on your relationship to food. During a fast, the body undergoes several biological changes. Enzymes normally produced by the digestive system have ceased to be produced or have been diminished greatly, depending on the type of fast, so introducing food slowly allows the body time to re-establish this enzyme production. The protective mucus lining of the stomach may be temporarily diminished as well, making the stomach walls more vulnerable to irritation until it also returns to normal. Gentle reintroduction of foods, beginning with the simplest and easiest-to-digest foods, supports this process. Substances known to be irritating to the system, such as coffee and spicy foods, must be avoided during the breaking process. Because of these biological changes, overeating immediately following a fast is much worse than over eating at any other time. Your system needs time to readjust back to normal digestion and assimilation. Not taking the proper measures can result in stomach cramping, nausea, and even vomiting. The adjustment period necessary is based on the length of the fast. Four days is considered adequate for any of the longer fasts, 1-3 days for shorter fasts, and just a day or so for one-day fasts. Foods to use for breaking a fast The most nutritious and easy-to-digest foods are used to break a fast initially, gradually adding more diversity and complexity over time. When breaking a fast, begin with frequent small meals, every 2 hours or so, progressing gradually toward larger meals with more time in between them until you reach a "normal" eating routine, such as 3 meals and 2 snacks in a day's time. Chew foods well. This will help immensely with proper digestion and is a good habit to foster. Strive to add live enzymes and good bacteria to your system. Fresh, raw foods are full of living enzymes good for your body and digestion. Probiotics, or "good" bacteria, can be found not only in pill form, but also in naturally cultured and fermented food products, such as yogurt, sauerkraut, and miso. In all, while it may take a little thought and attention, breaking a fast properly is so important to our overall health and to reaping the full benefits of our fasting. Many people have spent thousands of Dollar to look like Barbie and Ken, Micheal Jackson, Superman and others hanker after Cheryl Cole's dimples. But 43-year-old Diablo Delenfer – real name Gavin Paslowone from Kent has spent £10,000 to transform himself into a living and breathing devil from hell. The divorced father-of-two says his really and expensive transformation began in 2007 and so far, he has had his tongue forked, his teeth turned into razor-sharp fangs and horns that poke from his forehead, Now, he wants to have screws implanted into his skull in a bid to create a devilish metal Mohawk! "I chose to become the Devil Man because everything else has been done, whether here or in America. I'm not satanic at all – it's just a piece of fun. I'm pleased with my look so far, but what I really want is a tail. And not just a synthetic one – a proper, organic tail." Delenfer has since had his ears made pointy and endured a series of painful tattoos that now cover his face and arms. However, looking like Lucifer has made his quest to find a girlfriend – somewhat difficult. Check more pics here http://ask9ja..com/2014/07/man-spend-10000-to-look-like-devil.html

Nigerian Celebrity Blogger Linda Ikeji has just acquire a N4 million Diamond Rolex Wrist Watch. Linda Ikeji did a story on Genevieve Nnaji’s Rolex wrist-watch back then and she said "Iyanya, Davido and Wizkid are not the only celebrities who own Rolex watches worth millions of Naira, Star actress Genevieve Nnaji also owns one. Now here’s how I know. Linda Ikeji said she is in Dubai recently and went into a Rolex store just to window shop, (Can’t afford one) and while looking around I saw this particular watch that I fell in love with, asked how much it was and they told me $25, 000. (That’s N4million). Nah, that’s way too much for me, so I left the store and settled for something far less expensive. So anyway, here I was minding my own business as usual when I spotted the exact same watch on Genny’s wrist. I know some of you will be like, yeah right, N4m my a*s! But please trust me, that’s a Rolex watch. Dear Genevieve, I want to be like you when I grow up.” Well she has grown up now and has added the wrist -watch to her collection too, what a beauty. She wrote: “I’ve had it for a bit but let me finally introduce you guys. #RolexPerpetualOysterDatejust. Rolex, it doesn’t just tell time, it tells history! #Diamonds. #Choppinglifethings. Beyonce isn't just one of the world's most influential people. She's also the world's most powerful celebrity, according to Forbes magazine. Queen Bey as she is called dethrone Oprah and Lebron James from top richest celebrity. The publication released its annual Celebrity 100 list and has named Queen Bey as number one (1). When you consider the year Beyonce had, there's little reason to wonder why she will crown as world most influential and richest Celebrity. After giving what many viewed as a virtually flawless performance at the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Beyonce hasn't paused, embarking on a grand global tour while also readying the release of her self-titled visual album, "Beyonce." When that disc arrived to fans' pleasant surprise in December 2013, the singer notched her fifth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and sparked a platinum hit with the lead single, "Drunk in Love." (Monica Lewinsky referenced the record when talking about her past with former President Bill Clinton.) And yet, as Forbes notes, Beyonce's empire isn't limited to the music business. While she's setting out on joint tours with her husband -- they're currently crossing the country with their "On the Run" trek -- Beyonce's also managing her clothing company, line of perfumes, and collaborations with brands like Pepsi and H&M. All told, Forbes estimates that Beyonce earned roughly $115 million between June 2013 and June 2014. By comparison, her husband made an estimated $60 million, enough to put him in sixth place behind Oprah Winfrey (No. 4 at $82 million) and Ellen DeGeneres (No. 5, at $70 million). So who's the person standing directly in Beyonce's shadow? That would be.... More .... http://ask9ja..com/2014/07/beyonce-is-most-power-celebrity-forbes.html |
Cameroon officials are to investigate claims that seven of their players were involved in match-fixing at the World Cup in Brazil. The ethics committee of the African country's football federation will look at allegations of "fraud" by "seven bad apples" in their three group games. The allegations have been made in a German news magazine by a convicted match fixer from Singapore. Cameroon lost all their Group A games, including a 4-0 defeat by Croatia. The Indomitable Lions had Alex Song sent off for lashing out at Mario Mandzukic in that game, while team-mates Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Benjamin Moukandjo clashed late on in the game. A statement from Cameroon's FA read: "Recent allegations of fraud around Cameroon's 2014 Fifa World Cup three preliminary games, especially Cameroon versus Croatia, as well of the existence of seven bad apples [in our national team] do not reflect the values and principles promoted by our administration, in line with Fifa's code of conduct and the ethics of our nation. We are strongly committed to employ all means necessary to resolve this disruptive matter in the shortest delays." FIFA did not comment on whether it was looking into the issue as football's world governing body did not want to "compromise any possible investigations". It did, however, add: "Speaking generally, the integrity of the game is a top priority for Fifa and as such we take any allegations of match manipulation very seriously." Cameroon's build up to the tournament in Brazil was marred by the players refusing to board a plane to Brazil until a dispute over bonus payments had been settled. A financial package was eventually agreed with Cameroon's football federation, Fecafoot, but the squad's journey to the World Cup had been delayed for almost a day. They started the tournament with a 1-0 defeat by Mexico prior to the loss to Croatia and being beaten 4-1 by hosts Brazil. Some players behaved very badly, and that's why we have conceded four goals," Cameroon head coach Volker Finke told French newspaper L'Equipe after the Croatia defeat. I know that it is difficult to play with 10 men, but that is not a reason to lose it to this point. The game was balanced until the red card. The Croatians were more clinical in front of goal, but Cameroon also had chances to score. The behaviour of some of the players is really not satisfactory. Even when we were 11-a-side, it was not acceptable. Source: http://ask9ja..com/2014/07/cameroon-officials-to-investigate-match.html |
