Good morning Fellow mamas smiley, so so Happy to Join this thread again.
I was delivered of a beautiful boy a week ago.
Mummy , Daddy, Senior Sibling and Newest Addition we are all doing well.

Please for our Yoruba Mothers, when I delivered hubby was with me and his Mum was the first person told early in the morning cause I delivered midnight.
I want to ask am I supposed to have called her separately to inform her I gave birth?
She never called to greet me till naming day (same with my first child).
I want to talk to husband man about it or should I let it go cause eee pain me ooo.
My parents and siblings must not hear sef, them go escalate the matter. So I have been telling everyone Mama is doing Grandma duties via phonecalls and apologizes for not been around to care for us.
My mum is not around either.
This one weak me o, this is not even her first time of doing such. I'll like to ask, was she around for omugwo for your first child? May be something happened during that time.
But she suppose think of the newborn na. My mother in law use to tell me that "I'm not here because of you, I'm here because of my child". She use to say that very well and I'll do as if I didn't here anything.
It's obvious she is not happy with you. You need to speak out, let your mum know about it, nobody knows what will happen later.

Good day Sabi Mums
I did exclusive breastfeeding for my son and when we introduced food to him, he started eating like he's been waiting for it. He eats anything eatable. He is 7 months plus now and JUST YESTERDAY, he stopped eating anything you give him except breastmilk and Nutriben. (NOTE: he takes Nutriben twice a day). COULD IT BE TEETHING??
We noticed his teeth is coming out ( first teeth since he was born) and he's still very playful but has reduced in weight (if you carry him not physically).
Please, help a first time mum oooo.
It might be teething, continue to breastfeed him. Since he takes nutriben, you can increase the number of times and add enough milk.

My 2yrs plus doesn't like eating beans. And whenever she takes little quantity, it makes her poop, she might poo up to 3 times.
Should I stop giving her?

Same way you'd address your students in class should be used. Like the poster above, "Hello class" is more appropriate and try as much as you can not to make close eye contacts else your boldness might begin to fade. Also should you intend asking questions, you might boost your chances by asking any of the management personels present i.e any of the Principals or VPs. Good luck smiley

Modified: Simply put this way...

Hello class, I am Mrs ABC and I'll be taking you on ...... But before we proceed, I would have loved to get to you your names but I believe in our subsiquent classes, we will do that.
Now back to the subject, I am taking you on the topic "Nairaland". Here comes your first question to ascertain if they've had any previous knowledge on your topic. Your question: Can anyone tell us about Nairaland? If there's a reply, good but if not then make it snappy by giving the description and remember you are being timed. One important grading aspect during micro teaching, is your ability to make do with the little time allocated to you.
Thanks a lot for this.

anybody you see in that class is your student. including the proprietor if he happens to be among them. however, in addressing them, instead of saying hello pupils, simply address them in this manner " hello class"
I hope this was helpful
Wow. Thanks.

I need someone to shed light on micro teaching please.

In a situation whereby there are facilitators, teachers, principal, etc instead of students, for micro teaching, how do I address them? can I ask questions from them?
The last micro teaching I did, I turned it to seminar cry

Ofada rice has so many health benefits in comparison to the polished white rice, and so many people are unaware of its benefits.

Ofada rice contains higher amounts of vitamins and minerals which is good for the body.

Ofada rice is so nutritious that it can be categorized under wild rice because of its high fiber content; it keeps your digestion smooth and helps lower cholesterol.

Ofada rice is a good source of essential minerals such as phosphorus, zinc and folate, which give you energy and nurture your bones. Vitamins A, C and E are essential for overall health and immunity.

It is a low-calorie and gluten-free food, Ofada rice can help those who are attempting to lose weight and prevent obesity.

I sell quality, stone and dirt free ofada rice
You can get any quantity from us.
I await your PMs
