Webmasters / Re: Wow! Check Out Nigeria First Made Search Engine That Works Like Google by Greatfes17: 11:08pm On Oct 24, 2014
G3wap:
I can't get my eyes off this webmasters..
I was searching for best ways to get visitors to my new blog but everything seem nagative.

I tried submiting my blog to major search engines includin Yahoo. I tried everything and all i could get was just 100-150 pageviews.

I became frustrated and even decided to close down my blog cuz it makes me angry.

One day i woked up and log on to Google. I search for sites like Google. They listed many and i saw the Nigeria first made search engine. I thought because it's for Nigeria it will not bring me traffic.

I said well. I submited my blog url to them and before the next 24hres, i received a message from them that my site has been added to thier directory. Within 48hrs, i saw magic. Ennn!!!

My blog that was receiving less than 200 pageviews per day ran to over 50.000 pageviews per day.

My google adsense that dosen't recieve clicks and sometimes 1-3 clicks ran to over 13.000 clicks per day. Wow! This is miracle::

what are u waitin for my dear webmasters?? try your luck today and see wonders.. Visit their site at MG.RU.CX .. Wow!! I prefer this site than Google..

better than Google's search engine? You prefer it to Google? Maybe you don't know it's powered by "GOOGLE'S CUSTOM SEARCH."

Or are indirectly promoting your site?

Gradually we will get there.

Health / Nigerians, Where Are You Now That Ebola Is No More? by Greatfes17: 7:35pm On Oct 17, 2014
Nairaland Mods, forgive if I posted on the wrong thread.

July 2014 marked the first documented outbreak of Ebola in Nigeria. Since then, the country has been through a lot trying to curb the spread of the deadly virus. During these days, Nigerians (especially the
"Anti Goodluck Group"
who are always on the watch to see reasons to criticize him) have been making all sorts of negative comments against the government. Considering the huge number of our citizens who made it a priority to tell the world the countries inability to take care for it's citizens, how many of them have now come out to say a word about how the country has won the battle against Ebola.
As you think of how you can or have contributed to making our country a better nation, I want Nigerians to observe these:
1. Help the government eradicate the unwanted.
2. Don't criticize, but if you must, let it be constructive.
3. Whilst broadcasting our incapacilities, be ready to also reveal our achievements.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA

striktlymi:

Lagos state Government move against him??

Is that the position??

You just gave us another reason to believe that he did not offer to bribe the journalists. If the Government are after him then he should be bribing the security operatives not the journalists. He made it very clear that he does not want to interfere with the investigation being conducted by the operatives.

PLEASE MR RIGHT, PERMIT ME TO CALL YOU CRAP.

Religion / Re: Antichrist Pastors And Bishops In The Church by Greatfes17: 11:44am On Sep 20, 2014
newmi: This is a wonderful post and deserves all the support but as always the problem l have with posts like this especially when people like crossman sends in comments is one of both negligence and a lack of balance in the truth. True we have been sufficiently informed by scriptures of "The AntiChrist" as a person and persons who have made themselves ANTI-CHRISTS because of their false teachings and deceiptions but the bible sufficiently also informs us how to recognize and identify such. But how come in all my years on this religious section l have never read anyone who has boldly come out to praise and recognize the immense contributions of any Man of God recommending such a preacher/teacher to the public but no all we get people making a name out of speaking evil of Men of God all in an attempt to ridicule and make a rubbish of the office of the Pastor so when you criticise please also encourage and recognize those who are doing well for Jesus Christ

IF YOU KNOW WELL, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT WE ARE NOT MEANT TO RECOMMEND ANY DOCTRINE OR GOSPEL PREACHER BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO SO.
JUST BE CAREFUL WHILE CHOOSING.
Health / Re: Re-bathing With Salt To Prevent Ebola Virus. by Greatfes17: 12:15pm On Aug 08, 2014
DrMalik: WHY WE SHOULDN'T ENCOURAGE SALT-DRINKING AND SALT-BATHING FOR EBOLA VIRAL DISEASE PREVENTION!

By Dr. 'Malik Haruna King

#1: IT IS DECEPTIVE: Just like eating bitter-kola for cure, drinking warm salty water (or bathing with same at night) has absolutely no proven scientific or medical basis or evidence for prevention of EVD. Truth is bitter but it's healthier than salty lies and false hope!

#2: IT IS DISTRACTING: This would distract from the momentum we are trying to create for the effective way of preventing the spread of this deadly virus. Some people might become careless and lessen their commitment to personal hygiene and environmental sanitation!

#3: IT IS DANGEROUS: Salt is powerful--it can kill! That's why for ORT (for diarrhea treatment), we tell you the exact amount of salt and sugar to put in a clearly specified amount of water! Careless drinking and bathing with salt-water, especially if done repeatedly, is NOT advisable. It also raises the blood pressure and affect the skin.

#4: IT IS DISTURBING: I know of countries that have never had a single incidence of "Ebola", but have invested millions of dollars in research, gotten possible vaccines and drugs, done trials in animals (with success ), and have everything ready in case this virus enters their country! People are dying in Nigeria; see what we (including our graduates and scientists) are believing and broadcasting!

Ebola virus disease is NOT (and has not become) airborne! Spread is by physical contact.

I agree with you.
Our major problem in this country is ignorance. You need to see house my family and the entire yard was excessively consuming salt

These warm water bath and drink stuff self.
can you imagine? I normally woke up by 7 - 8 in the morning but today I was woked up by after 4 am. All in the name of bathing with salt and water. This however was followed by numerous number of calls and sms'
The worst of all is that I have checked and asked but the message seems to originate from unqualified source.

Nairaland / General / Facebook Has Changed Oh! by Greatfes17: 12:12am On Jun 08, 2013
I recieved facebook notification about peoples chat on facebook. It was like a magic to me so i decided to login to my account.
Guess what?
I was involved in the chat so i decided to post something.
You know what happened?
My post was sent to over 196 people that's roughly 200 people on facebook and the funny part is that not all of them are my friends on facebook.

So many people where confused just as i am and they were asking questions like "Hey guys, a recieve a lot of messages, can anyone gist me on what is going on?".

I went further to post something asking whether another person is observing what i am seeing and i was told this was actually going on among some selected friends.

In fact i wrote something about it on http://dreamsite.wapsite.me/Blog/__xtblog_entry/9461913-unusual-occurence-on-facebook?url=%2FBlog&__xtblog_block_id=1#xt_blog

And i will post screenshots of chat from different persons to prove myself.I recieved facebook notification about peoples chat on facebook. It was like a magic to me so i decided to login to my account.

Phones / Re: Nokia Care @ Nigeria: by Greatfes17: 11:24pm On Mar 04, 2013
I have got some little problem with my nokia n72 and nokia 6600 respectively.
First let me start with my nokia n72....I installed facebook app and after some weeks or probably months i couldn't find the app in the menu. I searched for it with my application manager but couldn't find it. Then i tried using other file managers like xplore but all to no avail. Then lastly, i tried to install another one to replace it but it kept asking me to replace the already installed one, i selected replace but it told me that installation failed.
Please what will i do?
6600 issue to come some other time.
