Abagworo: People who don't know Rivers State keep writing thrash about Wike winning a free and fair election. That is impossible. It is the turn of riverine to rule. PDP has to swap Wike to have any chances at the polls. God bless you family. |

Sant1m: speak for yourself, APC have supporters in SS and SE stop deceiving your self, recall Imo and Edo incase and Rivers will come over soon. As a keen watcher of events beyond the now, the signs are ominous, their will be a re run and Wike will lose. Apart from the party Exco how many top PDP men ve been open in stating their support for Wike. If you know Nigerian politics you will discover that to our elites what matter is their interest, the initial massive support to Wike was because of Gej which they saw through after after Gej lost. Most of these elites are contractors to Federal Agencies like NDDC, NIMASSA and others, you need to be on the Federal good books to keep those contract running. It is only the poor that fight for these politicians to death, i am sure that if you are the contractor currently handling the equipping of all heath centres in Nigeria courtesy Gej you won't want that contract to stop under PMB Govt. Why are people like Clerk singing a different tune. So my friend you like it or not Ameachi is currently the Bridge to Abuja for most of these big politicians. You hit the nail on WIKED Wike's head. That can't be truer. |

kITATITA: What are the issues between PDP and Amaechi? Is it 16 > 19 equation; or running a successful campaign for Buhari? Perhaps it's Mrs. Jonathan or the humble Dr. Jonathan. Oh! It should be Wike? It is definitely NOT about corruption. Same people who shut down the Senate to accompany an accused to the court can't be serious about preventing a perceived corrupt person from joining the Federal Executive. Somebody please tell me what the fight against Amaechi is all about? God bless you |

Politics › Re: S’court Ruling: Nobody Can Steal My Mandate, Says Wike by Greatidonis: 9:28am On Oct 28, 2015 |
igala1: Why Dakuku/APC would be return back to Government house.
1. The traditional Upland/Riverine dichotomy. The elders and stakeholders in the state as forefathers had thought it wise for fairness, equity and peace in the state, that political parties must nominate candidates based upon this norm. This was how Amaechi an Ikwerre came on board haven through Odili pacified his fellow contestants from the Riverine. In the run up to the PDP primaries, the likes of Dump LuluBriggs&16 others petitioned the party on the gentleman agreement but instead some of them were beaten to stupor by Wike's touts. There is a quiet rumbling in the jungle of the Riverine and other non ikwerre ethicity to uphold this sacred tradition of rotation and nature has bestored them the opportunity once more.
2. Dearth of development under "our brother". Despite influencing 2 million votes- the highest for his brother in the 2011 election, Rivers state became worse off under his watch. Wike blocked other PDP stalwarts from gaining contracts to the state from the Federal Government because of his greed and desperation to knock off all contestants to Brick House. Its in record that during the 2015 campaign, "our brother" affirmed he didn't do anything for us as alleged. Under "our brother", the International Airport was abandoned, surveillance aircraft to reduce oil bunkering was terminated. The syringe factory never saw the light of the day. UNEP report was neglected. Proceeds from Soku oil well (Rivers) was awarded to neighboring Bayelsa. Rivers Oil wells were given to Abia& Akwaibom. All these could have boosted the economy of the state & reduce unemployment.
3. Return of thuggery, kidnapping, insecurity, armed robbery, multiple local government levies& "matching ground" under Wike. The non indigenes who make up 45% of the state electorate have been reminded of those horrible past under PDP/Odili were we sleep with one eye opened. The state has recently slipped back to those dark days of torment. Shop owner are being harassed forcefully to pay multiple levies that never gets to the LGAs. They wear authorized ID cards issued by the Wike led government. Property developers in the state are neither spared too. If you don't comply to their demands your properties would be confiscated plus you can get brulalized. All these never existed under Amaechi/APC led government.
4. Government is a continuum. The undeniable achievements of the Amaechi/APC led government in education, agriculture, roads, employment etc now abandoned by Wike would be continued and improved upon under Dakuku.
5. Sponsorship, denial& arrest of Biafrans. The Igbo minority in Rivers state are the bulk of the non indegenes who can give a bloc vote. They are scattered round Phalga, Obioakpor and Eleme. They have been embarrased by Wike after he initially supporter their agitation but later withdrew & its pay back time.
6. Since 1967 Rivers state has always aligned with the Party at the Center. It is a known fact that Rivers state does not play opposition to the winning party at the Federal level. This is sacrosanct and Wike knows this. It necessary to assist the state gain contributions for its development from the Federal government this has helped Akwaibom, Bayelsa& Rivers in the past. The stakeholders are beginning to withdraw to the drawing board to reaccess their interest as having not been achieved under a supposed Wike/GEJ administration they may submit to negotiations under a Dakuku/PMB tenure. Under PMB Elements petroleum was completed and functional. UNEP report has been given support. Many more goddies would come especially with Amaechi as a minister and he does know how to negotiate.
7. Wike will be prosecuted on fraud as education minister and on killings during last election.

EdCure: I'm sure Wike doesn't know what a mandate is. Is the tout refering to the post he got after killing hundreds of people in a daylight robbery as "mandate"
This ridiculous clown stole the Rivers mandate through the barrel of the gun. It is being retrieved and restored to the rightful owner through the gavel of the court. The rule of law is prevailing. God bless you my bro. I'm a full blooded Rivers man. It's the turn of the RiversRiverine Ikwerre can't hand over to another Ikwerre after 8 years |

1st SCENARIO
GEJ campaign strategists-Sir we have a damning documentary on Mr Buhari. We will put it on air for as long as we can. It has the capacity to effectively ruin his campaign and our most trusted media partner, AIT, is willing to play ball.
GEJ- Approved!
2ND SCENARIO
Buhari Media Strategists(BMS)- Sir we have put together a concise documentary to counter what the incumbent President is presently airing to demonize you and also expose their shenanigans to the Nigerian people.
Buhari- Let me see.
BMS- Here sir.
Buhari- I can't allow you to put this on air . It's against my religious leaning. I'll not be able to go to the mosque unburdened if I approve this. Sorry, you can't get my approval on this.
Result - GEJ's popularity crashed, PMB's popularity soared and he won the election.
A thoroughbred 2D thinker, known as Mr Wike, decided it was best to adopt same strategy that ruined GEJ's campaign. The result is out there. His target's, Ameachi, popularity soared, while Wike is still struggling to survive as a politician.
Lesson- demonizing your opponent is the least effective strategy to winning an election. Sell what you've got and tell us what you will do differently. |
