raumdeuter:finally, all hope is lost. |
Heywhizzy:do you actually think neymar dribbles better than hazard? Mind you, there is a difference between being successful with dribbles and attempting more dribbles. Hazard wey dey even top neymar oga (messi) for successful dribbles. |
MoR2:your head dey there. |
The stats from our win on Saturday highlight a number of crucial contributions from Antonio Conte’s men… We had 14 shots to Brighton’s 10 although crucially 10 of our efforts were on target in contrast to just three of theirs. Willian and Michy Batshuayi had four attempts apiece and they were followed by the third man in our frontline, Eden Hazard , who had three. Eleven of our efforts stemmed from open-play moves, and half of our total amount were struck from outside the box. We had a 58.3 per cent share of possession and an 86 per cent pass completion rate. In total, we completed 462 passes with N’Golo Kante (56), Cesar Azpilicueta (54), Tiemoue Bakayoko (54) and Hazard (51) all ranking highly. When it came to key passes, Willian made the most with four, followed by Hazard with three. No player had more touches of the ball than the Belgian’s 92. Hazard was successful with nine dribbles, accounting for half of the team’s total of 18. Bakayoko was the next best Chelsea player with three. In terms of tackles, N’Golo Kante won a joint game-high three with substitute David Luiz and Toni Rudiger recording two apiece. Overall we had a 62 per cent tackle completion rate in contrast to Brighton’s 38 per cent. Kante and Marcos Alonso made three interceptions each, and Willy Caballero and Rudiger were responsible for four clearances. Willian made his 50th consecutive Premier League appearance, the longest current run among all outfield players in the league. He has been directly involved in seven goals in his last five Premier League starts for us (three goals, four assists). Guys, we had 10 massive shots on target out of 14. That is a big improvement from our previous matches. |
MoR2:as I just see the post, I just tire for the guy. |
MoR2:you know that type when you just play according to the instincts that come to your head. The type hazard says he likes to play. The type he plays with his younger brother in their garden. |
MoR2:no mind am |
raumdeuter:show us what? That man City are winning the league for the first time in their history? All that they are the first to win it while breaking a record or records? |
raumdeuter:so, with all these your so called football knowledge, you type this as an answer to such question? Chai Thunder go fire anybody wey go try deny my children at least, monkey post football experience. Let me see if there is still hope. Which is easier and enjoyable between, marking, tackling, blocking, chasing the ball around, and passing, holding and playing with the ball at the feet? |
MoR2:hazard is not stupid to even contemplate such thing. Chelsea fans go stone am to death. |
phaamsaam:can you explain to us how playing defensive is easier than total expression and total attacking football. |
Heywhizzy:good student of oga raumdeuter. You are learning very fast o. |
MoR2:hazard on point here in the style of play. |

raumdeuter:at your last paragragh, i hope you will not start turning amala when other things are brought? |
also he [Caballero] did a great performance and everyone watching the game can see this. He did it against Norwich three days ago and now again so he is a really good goalkeeper.’ For Hazard , having the chance to play like he did and score his first goals in open play since the start of December, the first of which was the 100th league goal of his career for Chelsea and Lille combined, was pure joy. ‘It is my job to score. Every game I try to score goals and create chances and that is why I like to play football, to enjoy on the pitch and score goals. ‘When I watch the game after I want to see this sort of thing [the way Chelsea played against Brighton], not just my goals but when we create chances like this. I am happy for that, not my two goals, but for the way we are moving, passing the ball, and that is why we love football. We try to do this every game, sometimes it happens, sometimes not and in this game it did so we are happy.’ http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2018/01/that_s-the-way-says-happy-hazard-.html |
Paul Pogba will demand his Manchester United wages are doubled to £400k-a-week to match new arrival Alexis Sanchez. |

Dzeko's and Emerson is excepted to complete their move on Monday or Tuesday |
raumdeuter:like i already told you, records are nothing. It is the title that matters and if he wins it now he will shift and another person will take over. |
raumdeuter:the same way wenger he is king for unbeaten. King for consecutive victories before last season. Conte, king for 30 victories. Mou, king with 95 points. Fegi, king in consecutive titles. |
raumdeuter:it still means nothing if it is broken. Records are broken everyday. |
raumdeuter:show us any season where any team had 30 victories in a season. Or Where a team won the league with 95 points. Or Where a team won the league unbeaten? |
raumdeuter:show us the person that said that. Why would someone say that when we have already seen similar things to it before this season. |
snrman:for me it is not. His pass were poor. |
Chelseafan1:exactly the question i wanted to ask him. |
raumdeuter:just read and pass because it the fact. If Willian is the way he described him, we will be having a player rivaling hazard for his position. |
They were made to pay for the missed chances late on as Hazard capped another mazy run with a ruthless finish before Moses latched onto substitute Charly Musonda's inch-perfect 40-yard to seal a resounding away victory. Opta stats Brighton have picked up just one win from their last 13 Premier League games (D5 L7), failing to score in nine of these. Chelsea have won 45 of their 76 away games against newly-promoted sides in the Premier League, a joint-high figure (Arsenal have also won 45). The Blues extended their top-flight unbeaten run to eight games (W5 D3), their longest streak without a defeat since March (also eight). Willian made his 50th consecutive Premier League appearance, the longest current run of any player in the competition. He has been directly involved in eight goals in his last five Premier League starts for Chelsea (3 goals, 5 assists), as many as he managed in his previous 20. Eden Hazard celebrates with Willian after scoring the opening goal of the game Hazard's opener was his 100th goal in league football (now 101), with 65 coming for Chelsea and 36 for Lille. He has now scored (65) or assisted (37) 102 Premier League goals for Chelsea; taking him ahead of Gianfranco Zola (101) to outright third for the club in the competition (Lampard 237, Drogba 159). Batshuayi registered his first assist in his last 31 Premier League appearances, since he set up Diego Costa on his debut in the competition in August 2016. Man of the Match - Eden Hazard Hazard was in the mood at the Amex Stadium. Every time he got on the ball he terrified Brighton's defenders and his finishing was at its exquisite best as his double inspired Chelsea to a comprehensive away victory. His perfermonace left Jamie Redknapp, who watching the game in the studio for Sky Sports, purring. "If VAR looked at his performance today, then some it would have illegal as he was that good", the former Liverpool midfielder said. "Willian was fantastic as well - as was Batshuayi, but Hazard was playing a different game. He was at his energetic, beautiful best today." Man of the Match, @hazardeden10 2 goals from 2 shots on target 3 chances created 92 touches (game high) 5th time in 6 seasons at @ChelseaFC that he has scored 10+ goals (all comps) pic.twitter.com/F4TSTwxJt3 — Sky Sports Statto (@SkySportsStatto) January 20, 2018 The pundit - Thierry Henry "Hazard is unplayable when he's in that mood. When he plays like this it's more than likely Chelsea are going to win the game. "I like what Antonio Conte does. I watched the game against Leicester and they weren't scoring goals - Conte took him off. When you do that to a player like him with the quality he has, it woke him up. From the beginning, he meant business. Eden Hazard rides a challenge by Dale Stephens "Conte did it last season ahead of a game with Arsenal and we all know what he did to Arsenal with that goal last year. I like the way Hazard reacted from the Leicester game. "That's the job of the boss - sometimes a player might be tired, sometimes a player needs a reminder that he's not doing enough. I'm not saying Hazard wasn't. Usually when you take the main player off after an hour when you're supposed to win that game. It got the reaction of, 'OK, I'm on the bench, but we'll see next week'." |
