Chelsea captain John Terry says Eden Hazard is as good as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo- and that he will only get better. Hazard opened the scoring in the 2-1 victory over Stoke from the penalty spot as Jose Mourinho's side moved seven points clear at the top of the table. Loic Remy hit the winner after Charlie Adam had pulled the Potters level. There was, however, bad news for Jose Mourinho's side with top scorer Diego Costa substituted after suffering a recurrence of a hamstring problem, but Terry says Hazard can step up and be the Blues' match-winner. "He has been excellent - he has been our best player by a long way this year," he toldSky Sports. “In those games where you're looking for a little bit of something extra - a bit of magic from someone - he's the one who steps up and manages to create something. He's up there with Messi and Ronaldo and he can still get better and better." Chelsea face a trip to Loftus Road to take on QPR next weekend before games against Manchester United and Arsenal, and Terry has urged his team to maintain their momentum. "It's the old cliche, but tick a box, get three points today and move on. It's a massive game for us away to QPR, a big London derby for us," he added. "We've just got to frustrate teams. For the next two or three weeks, we've got some big games coming up so we must keep putting three points on the board and making it difficult for the teams around us." http://m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/10469152 |

Oboy, hazard sabi play futubol. Dm born am on top ball. |
Alvaro Arbeloabelieves Chelseamanager Jose Mourinhocould return to coach Real Madridin the future. The 52-year-old coached Madrid for three years before leaving the current Champions League holders to return to Chelsea. Mourinho guided the Bernabeu side to the Liga title in 2011-12, the Copa del Rey in his first season in charge and the Supercopa de Espana in 2012. However, he was also at the centre of a number of controversies during his spell at Madrid as he fell out with key players such as Iker Casillas and Sergio Ramos. Arbeloa remains a keen admirer of Mourinho, though, and can imagine the Portuguese return to the Spanish capital in the future. "There is a chance that Mourinho will return to Real Madrid in the future," Arbeloa toldEl Chiringuito. "I do not know when, but I do believe he could return one day. "I do not agree with those who say he divided Madrid. I am a Mourinho fan. He knows what he wants and is always straight and honest. He does not have any fear." Mourinho has a contract with Chelsea until June 2017. http://m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/10401152 |
Krasid:lets keep watching. |
Loogan:u dnt knw what u are saying. Bale won both during his time. |
Krasid:if he beats hazard and other young players to the ypoy award, then he cn win the senior one. Who wl win that of POY? |
yoji:no b so dem dy win am. You sure say u go vote? |
Harry kane is proving a strong challenge for the player of the year. |
ClintonNzedimma:yes. And this chelsea cn also beat barca even at camp nou. |
TheGoodJoe:dats d way u analyze. Why dnt u analyze it in the sense that, mou is a person that knw hw to analyze a defeat nd kn wat caused hm to lose. He hardly lose to a team twice in a season. This is due to his ability to read d game perfectly and knw where d defects were and fix it. That mou wl win less when he plays 10 times against pep is a prediction made frm past records which do nt count in a match. Like mou wl always say, evry game is diff, you dnt judge wat wl happen in a match wt wat happened in d previous one. Tottenham beat chelsea 5 -3 in the league b4 dia nxt meeting in the carling cup final, yet chelsea beat them 2 - 0 in d match. Arsenal has beaten man U in the FA cup, u dnt knw if arsenal may start beating them frm dia onwards. |
cr7lomo:oga, undastd a comment b4 u quote it. What dat comment meant is that what happens in the league hv no interpretation of what happens outside of it. That the league is hot does nt guarantee success for the teams in it outside d league. Chelsea won d ucl in 2012, bt 5nished 6th in dia domestic league. Gerrard neva won d epl, bt won d ucl wt liverpool. Besides that, are you saying that english do nt do wel in the european stage? |
TheGoodJoe:dnt forget that evry1 has his own analysis. Another person cn analyse it in a way that mou's team wl b likely to win. |
dicksj93:i like dis |
ClintonNzedimma:thats d way u always talk. The barca team that 10 man chelsea without a coach beat was a team that set a record of winning six trophies in a year. It had a messi dat went on to win the ballon d'or dat yr, an iniesta dat won d uefa best player and a xavi. A team dat was considered the best ever in club football. |
TheGoodJoe:una knw say mikel good like dis, yet una go dy cast am. Well, all dis ones wey una dy talk na analysis frm wat u tink lukin frm d players they hv and d style of play. All dis do change wen dis kind of matches are played. Maybe, that day u wl b surprised to c matic playing d way mikel wl play. Or zouma maybe played instead. This is y clubs hv diff. Players wt diff. Style and profile. |
Vick4rill:that is your own opinion. |
When ppl talk abt the best league i wonder what they use to rate it. For me, the success in continental competition does nt count for the perf. in d league. That two or three clubs frm a league are doin wel in continental competition does nt represent the overall perf. of d entire clubs of d league. Rating of the best league is done frm what is happening n d league and nt outside it. |
dechandel:compare urinating wt a skirt on and dat of trouser. Compare it wt the body exposure and convinence, then ask me dis question again. |
homesteady:is what he wrote nt a prove that the statement "epl is overrated" a fallacy. |
Gary Neville believes the Premier League is stuck in a cycle of overpaying for average talent, and has blamed the problem on "super-agents" who take Premier League clubs for "mugs". The debate over whether the English top flight can claim to be the best league in the world has raged this week, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton all eliminated from European competition. Liverpool face Manchester United this weekend and, while Neville believes the game will be passionate and end-to-end, he concedes that few of the players in each starting XI would make it into the respective squads of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Neville believes that is symptomatic of a culture of overpaying for players who are not truly "elite" and says that top Premier League clubs must redouble their efforts to improve recruitment strategies if they are to improve. "Liverpool vs Man Utd will be full of entertainment, the fans will be up for it, the atmosphere will be great, it will capture our imagination," he wrote inThe Telegraph. "Relate it to the Clasico later in the day, though, and it will come a distant second, in terms of the technical and tactical aspects. "Is this cyclical or a pattern? I hope it's only a phase. Yet recruitment is becoming a huge topic of concern for English clubs. The modern game is controlled by the big overseas agents. There are no prominent English ones I can think of. We are being used as mugs by middle-men who will happily ship over to England the talent they want to send while the prime stock is pushed into other clubs where they have better connections, and where the players would prefer to go. "We are not dominating the super-agent business – and I do detect a link. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been principled, historically, in their use of agents, but these days we are having to pay high, high prices for players who left the selling club reluctantly. Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria are examples. "Meanwhile, we are forking out very good money for average, and extravagant money for good. But we're still not getting the true elite. And if we do get them, they end up wanting to go back to Barcelona or Real Madrid. "The Premier League will not be happy with these trends. Nor will Sheikh Mansour at Man City, or Arsenal's owners. There are probably a lot of unhappy people out there. We have to come out of this." http://m.goal.com/x/en-ng/news/10032772 |
homesteady:that you attack massively and defend massively has ntin to do wt possession. Just that evry member of the team attack wen d ball is in possession and vice versa. |
papadjaji:i cn see you who have common sense and manner. That your question was devoid of football knowledge was an obvious fact that i stated as it was. I sorry if you couldn't handle d truth. |
dechandel:is d trouser alway handy at dat point. |
dechandel:what of wen you wnt to urinate. |
homesteady:which match did psg hv more possession? U dnt knw d match u are talking abt. |
Exactly my thought. The guy wt d comment above mine has little or no understanding ability. *No insult intended* |
homesteady:i doubt if u watched d match. |
Debroslink:that is for barcelona and dia business. |
homesteady:football is 90 mins. Dnt deceive urself to tink dat a football match wl b played for 90 mins, and the opposition team wl nt get the ball. If messi does nt track bk 2 help to recover d ball for his team, it is 2 dia detriment. Mou trains his team to cum bk nd help recover d ball wen it is lost. That is y mata was sold. Hazard was criticized because of it last season, bt he has developed significantly in dat aspect. It is unfortunate that both neymar nd messi lack dat quality to help the team recover d ball. That is y chelsea is likely to win barca if they meet. Mou's philosophy is if u lose d ball, evry1 shld help to recover it. If yor recover it, evry1 shld help to attack. Massive attack, massive defense. And when i am attacking massively, if the opponent does nt return to defend massively, there is a chance for a goal. This is the reason sum ppl say chelsea park d bus, they dnt undastd d meaning of parking d bus. When chelsea defend massively to recover d ball, they say we are parking d bus. |
Krasid:for me, there is no best counter attacking player. |
papadjaji:so you expected me to choose one option 4rm dat ur dump question nd option. Question devoid of football knowledge. |

?? Epl can be compared to d south african league in Africa . They are really good at promoting their league and have a lot of money to spend but when it comes to the continental league , they collapse below what they have made te continent believe bout how strong their league is. Most local African players would prefer the south African league because of the popularity compared to other leagues in Africa
