I strongly support the pastor. They are not rubber stamps. They have a duty before God to counsel the couple before marriage and where they are not satisfied, can refuse wedding them even on the wedding day.
I remember during my marriage counseling many years ago, the reverend told us that how he had wedded couples for over 15years and not one has he heard divorced and won't hesitate to walk out any couple that will ruin that record.
If pastors will start assuming this responsibility they have towards the holiness of matrimony, many people today who have no business being even friends, talkless of being married which end up in divorce will be saved from it.
I have a friend today who cries in regrets anytime he laments his marriage. An almost 40 year old man shedding tears like a baby. He still confesses that if he ever saw his current experience then, he would have walked away at the altar. Won't such a guy be happy if it was his wedding this pastor walked out on.

Please,any pastor out there who sees clear signs that the union won't work and thus lead to more divorce, should call it off or walk away and absolve himself of any punishment from God whom He is representing.

A mere man who doesn't know what marriage entails might not understand your stand on the Pastor's action. it is better to remain single than to marry and divorce. News about marriages theses days has gone horror!!!

Good day to all farmers in the house. I have a plan to go into full cassava farming by next year March, God's willing. In this regard, I need an OBTAINABLE COST AND INCOME ANALYSIS preferably from someone who is into Cassava Farming till a very recent time (possibly this year). I need to know about:
1. Land Availability (Ogun, Oyo and Osun).
2. Cost of Lease/Hectare.
3. Availability of tractor and other machineries in the area.
4. Cost of Tractor (1st and 2nd Plough)
5. Number of budle of stem/hectare and the cost/bundle
6. Herbicide type, cost and volume per hectare
7. All other costs as it may be apllicable

8. Total income per Hectare
9. Availability of Market
10.Challenges involved and the ways out.

I will very much grateful for a sincere response majorly from those that are into cassava farming. Also I am still very much into search for good land suitable for Cassava farming preferably on lease at a very affordable price.

A big kudos to all the participants and more importantly the organizer of the program, COWBELL. This is a very impacting program that will steer up the spirit of the upcoming one in their academic pursuit. Unlike the other organizers who organized program like sansa dance that has neither academic impact nor cultural influence. I think we need more of these programs for our upcoming students.
