it depends on d desired course....certain subjects are generally required (irrespective of the school) for some courses. For instance, Literature is required for Law, Biology for Medicine (I guess) and so on. I guess Commerce could be taken for Political Science, Economics (not sure though).

i really don't knw wat oda schools require......but I tink this is where the Jamb brochure comes in......they are meant to guide candidates. So, Let her check the brochure and choose only wat d desired school states as acceptable for the desired course.

I just hope this suggestion helps.

Whether it's better by crab or better by stress, there's no institution that can take the place of Unilorin in my heart. I love Unilorin with all it's imperfections, the only problem I'll get with her is when they throw my 80% to the trash, I'm not a guru but they don't have the slightest idea on how I worked so hard for that score, it wasn't easy, it wasn't funny! emm...excuse me Sir, I sincerely don't think the school will begin to charge u for late reg from the word go. I think you will be given sometime to do your normal reg, when that expires, then late reg will begin.

I don't knw of this year o but in past years, they don't open hostel link for freshers until both lists are out. Besides, hostel usually comes out more than once...sometimes 2ce....sometimes 3ce. Am assuming they will do same this session.

Just try and relax. Worrying won't solve your problems, it will only increase them.

Seriously unilorin has put those of us waiting 4 2nd list to nothing less than impriority of d highest order.......d hostel accomodation will be. Opened tomorroe by 12 pm yet no 2nd list out,late registration has commenced which means we gonna pay #5000 additional fees.....hmmm all is well......very much optimistic......I believe I will make d 2nd list wit my desired course of study likewise all nairalander waiting here.......we won't wait nd labour in vain.

U keep saying HND, do u knw dt HND is phasing out now? OND is now placed on d same level as SSCE while HND is now placed on d same level as NCE.
Some years back, HND holders....I tink dy av an association....cried out to d government to do something about their certificate.

They said when they go for interview and there is a BSC holder there, they tend pick the BSC holder.

You need to know wats going on in the labour world before picking courses or getting involved in stuff.

ma'am to be sincere I know much about d. Latter but the former aint awared abt dat..those are my considerations dat y opted for direct entry so as to earned a degree certificate cos d discrimination of labour market to Hnd holders is too over-whelmed.unilorin made me lamented out of their negligence to have said I should have opted 4 hnd,thanks for the information
