Crime / Re: We Need To Take Down SOKOLOAN GOCASH by Greatzeus(m): 4:54pm On Jan 21
honestdealer1:
Good Day All, See what Sokoloan GOCASH has done to me. On a loan of N60,000 to pay N72,000, I have extended more than ten times already. That is more than the loan's full repayment and I still have to pay the N72,000 either I like it or not. Imagine paying 79,200 as extension and the real debt of N72,000 is still there.

If you ask them to give you one month to look for the complete money to avoid extensions, they will not answer. They will defame you to your Local Government Area from day one not to talk of one month. The whole point of defamation is to put people under pressure so that they can rip them off. Once you know what they can do and what they will do, you keep on extending even when it is against your financial interest.

Something must be done now.

Please share this to all your family and friends. We need to take down Sokolending Limited, GOCASH now.

Admin, please move to front page.

Who are the " we"?
Sokoloan and any others are businesses with employees and running cost,in business to make profit.
You agreed to their terms and conditions didn't you? You knew the interest rate before applying didn't you?
If you had paid your loan back the day it was due, will there be any additions? You needed money desperately, sokoloan gave you the money. Now you're asking for the business to be pulled down. Not considering the owners capital and employees and those still benefing from the loans, can't you see you are entitled and wicked?
Why didn't you call your parents ( did they even have any business to their names that has employed jobless Nigerians?) Or your siblings or friends? If money is so easy to get.
Go and pay your principal and interest, typical wretched ungrateful soul spits.

Computers / Re: I Need A Good Laptop by Greatzeus(m): 4:41pm On Jan 21
monchazfarms:
Good day good people. Can someone give me a specification of a good hp laptop that can last for a long time and at the same time serve a variety of purpose like graphic designs, video editing and streaming, programming, business purposes etc. Your professional advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
There are lots of almost useless but beautiful laptops been sold online and offline. Any laptop without a dedicated graphics or Video ram is useless for an average enlightened young person in today's world.
Unless your laptop is for desktop publishing, browsing internet and watching videos alone. If you intend to use it for anything graphics or programming or gaming, make sure to get the one with Vram. How much Vram is now dependent on how far you intend to stretch your Pc in terms of graphics or gaming.
Secondly,if you intend to run on windows 11 O.S, make sure your Pc intel CPU is at least 8th gen or AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer. Or else you won't be able to install windows 11.
Note: There are now windows 11 .iso file(No TPM) that has been worked on to run on any PC, windows 10 can run on. But you will never be able to get windows updates,so it's better to have Windows 10 that still gets windows updates.

PrinceofSarcasm:
Cc Seun I am not making this up, go through his over 500.topics and see for yourself.

Freestuffsng is one of the top promoters of tribalism on this forum during the dark days and it shows..
You joined nairaland in January 2023? What happened to your real accounts?
Why are you guys so vindictive and hateful and hypocritical?
Everything should be done to eradicate tribalism on nairaland, yes, but pointing out just a moniker is hypocritical. I am matured enough not to ever respond to insultive comments on my tribe here because I know, almost no tribe is spared of insults here especially the 3 major tribes. But trying to make it seem like a particular moniker is the guilty party is false. You just hated him because of his tribe or religion or political affiliation that's all.
The same way you guys hated mannabb q guy,for no just reason than he supports PMB. Anyone that's not with you is guilty, even if the person is neutral. Example is your hatred and onslaught on Adeboye and other SW Pastor in the last election just because they didn't endorse your saint candidate.
You guys are so emotional and insultive, but can't take what you give. Hypocritical children of hate.

Gaming / Re: Help! My Very First Game App Design: How To Raise Funds To Develop It? by Greatzeus(m): 10:06am On Jan 16
Fund you say? Apart from what you drafted on paper, what have you done digitally as a proof to prospective investors that your game will be a big deal? Or you will just present them with your paper version? Lol
Do you have knowledge of coding,App or Game development?
Do you intend to build it yourself or with a team of developers, programmers and testers etc.
Is it a simple game(Eg Bible Quiz) or more complex game(Eg Need for speed) or very complex game like GTA?You need more of digital skill of coding and programming.Starting from choosing a game engine to use, 2D or 3D graphics design of your game, actual coding of the game, testing etc.
Others are High end PC that can handle the rigor of what you intend to build.
What I'm saying is,have a digital proof of how the game will work or look,do some coding, dish this paper trash ...
Business / Re: Please Share Your Experience With Loan Apps/sharks by Greatzeus(m): 3:58pm On Jan 14
Recently there's been a lot of well deserved onslaught on loan apps businesses because of the degrading way they go after loan defaulters, while i acknowledge and disagree with their extreme measures in recuperating their money plus interest,I want to also call out Nigerians for their bad habits of not wanting to pay back money they borrowed either from loan apps or individuals.
I have never downloaded any loan apps before, never applied for any loan in my life, whether from apps or banks or government. I don't know anyone who owns or works with loan apps. I am giving my opinion from my experience with Nigerians when it comes to borrowing and repayment.
1. Many Nigerians take loan because it is available not because it is necessary. Is it not to download an app, fill my details and boom apply for loan? Let's go there undecided
This is a bad attitude, you end up spending the money on frivolities, since you had no clear purpose initially.
2. Many Nigerians are self entitled.
You have financial problems, you went to loan apps because all other options have failed, when it's time for payment, you refuse to pay, because you believe nothing will happen. The same attitude you show towards your friends and relatives that has made them to stop lending you money.
3. Many Nigerians are ingrates.
I have seen lots of posts and comments on social media vilifying loan apps, same people who came through for your poor wretched a ss,when your parents couldn't. Same ingratitude you show to government. Always criticizing the government, only for us to be told millions of Nigerians benefited from COVID loan, yet non of them ever made a comment in 8 years to appreciate the gesture, ingrates spits.
4. Nigerians don't look at terms and conditions when they want to go into a contract that will benefit them, they just agree and collect the benefits.
After they have enjoyed the benefits and it's time to fulfil their own parts of the contract, they will now remember how the lender is wicked, how the interest is too much etc
5. Loan Apps are someone's businesses with employees that are paid every month.
Always remember that,I have seen lots of comments on nairaland bragging that they will never repay their loans imagine. Don't worry, the person that will destroy your business and hard earned life investment is still writing junior waec, you will reap what you sowed.
Lastly, when next you need a loan, call your parents or siblings or the thousands of contacts on your phone,if money is easy to make. Leave loan apps alone. Last time I checked they didn't come to your house to force you to collect loan.

Please, fellow Nairalanders, from which loan app can I borrow up to N50000 for the first time?
What do you need the money for? Stomach refill or business? What do you do for a living and how do you intend to pay back?
You shouldn't take a loan from loan Apps if you don't have any way to pay back especially source of income. So as to prevent harassment and disgrace if you don't pay back. It's better to borrow from friends and families that will give you enough time to pay back.

If seun does not ban this guy for derailing my thread with tribalism post then I will know that seun is not being sincere on this forum.
I believe Seun meant what he said, but what I don't know is how much of tribalism or misogynistic behaviour on this forum he can curtail.
Also I know this your moniker despite the fact that I hardly post comments or visit romance section, how?
I remember some years ago, when you do link almost every post to rape and write despicable things about ALL men being rapists. You were corrected severally by some people to stop generalising, that all men are not rapists, but no. You were enjoying the publicity your vile posts are getting,to the extent that you started fishing out sexual assault news on all Nigeria's newspapers and was posting them on nairaland, just to convince and embitter other females on nairaland that all men are rapists.
I remember your moniker making comments about, women not leaving their daughters with their husbands because they will be raped, imagine.
I never quoted you once or commented on any of your disgusting men hating posts and threads. But I always wonder how you could leave with yourself or sleep at night.
Look at you now complaining about men hating women on nairaland, wow, wonders shall never end. You're such a hypocrite double faced embittered lady.
We haven't seen your men are all rapists posts or threads here for a while,we haven't seen your " mothers keep your daughters from their fathers so they won't rape them" threads for a while, what happened?
Karma has knocked on your door, and nature has judged you in ways you didn't see coming?
Hope you're not in a relationship or married, because if you are,I believe you will reap all the hatred you showed over the years between males and females here. Who knows, that your boyfriend or husband might turn out to be what you claim all men are.
Karma is real
THUG- The Hate U Give will come back to you.✌️✌️

Religion / Re: Before You Judge TB Joshua by Greatzeus(m): 10:49am On Jan 09
Many of you don't understand the word of God. And you keep erring and going against the clear commandments of God. Which reflects in your life through disappointment and unanswered prayers.
It was clearly written in the Bible, the New testament and from the mouth of Jesus himself, that " Judge not that ye be not judged..." Math 7:1-2
It didn't say you can judge if you know the person is guilty or you can judge if you don't like the person,it says thou shalt not Judge period!!!!
Do not judge anyone as regards biblical standards, leave them to God. You're not any better,I said you're not any better. You as a man you don't the infallibility character to be able to judge another man, only God is qualified.
So this year 2024, learn to mind your business,be serious and dedicated to your walk with God,and seek his face for your blessings, spiritual growth and protection.
Nevertheless, this doesn't in no wise as to do with civil or criminal offences. If you see a man commits a criminal offense, and you have evidence,it's your duty to report to the police. Every criminal actions should be condemned, irrespective of the person's social status, only if such a person has been tried and convicted in a court of law.
Do not condemn anyone as a result of accusations you saw on the internet, let the accusers present their proof in court and let a judge decide, after the accused has been given a chance to prove his innocence. Thank you.

Family / Re: Ever Felt Like This III? by Greatzeus(m): 4:11pm On Jan 05
Politics is dirty anywhere on earth and politicians are crooked that take advantage of their position to enrich themselves anywhere in the world.
The only difference is in saner climes, especially Europe and America, there are laws that's limiting the excesses of their politicians.
There laws applies to everyone irrespective of position or status,so they go about their crookedness coded.
But Nigerian politicians go about their crookedness blatantly, with no fear or limit. That's why a Governor could come out and say boldly that he built an international church for his state that cost N30B plus.
That's why an ex Governor can boldly say requesting for Millions monthly from his successor whom he made Governor is just politics.

Is that by miracle?
Don't mind him. Anytime you hear a civil servant says they're being owed 1 or 2 or more years, just know they're as corrupt as the evil government owing them. No one who is not a thief will be able to keep up with daily expenses of transport and feeding at work, and at home for months not to talk of years, without receiving a dime at work, how's that possible?
They won't resign because they don't spend their salaries. The money they make in a week is more than their salaries, through corruption.

My second experience was at a mall GABBS at okpanam road(Asaba,)last week..we went them to get our supplies as usual
For the second time in that week.

We got all we needed and happily went over the counter for the cashier to package and tell us our bills.

I don't use ATM cards...I prefer doing transfer...when it was time to pay,I tried paying with my bank app only to discover MTN had serious network issues....i tried and tried and tried to run transfer...omorr I almost cried and it was a bulky purchase.

For where...MTN went to coven that day....my kids were just looking at me..

I had to step aside for the next customers...omorr it got bad that I thought I had ran outta Data and rang a close friend(a nairalander)
To sell data to me so I could also run transfer to him....the guy sent the data....

For where... Network was messed up,I had to tell the cashier that we'll have to let go of the supplies...I was effing vexed that day.

I remembered my lil son telling me...Mummy tell her to give you the supplies,we'll come back later to pay them cheesy cheesy cheesy

Truth be told...it was really embarrassing.
If the problem is from the bank,I will understand, there's nothing you can do but wait. But you said it was MTN network that was bad. What stops you from switching to another SIM on your phone? Don't phones have 2 SIMs nowadays?
Secondly couldn't you have asked to connect to Anyone's WiFi at the mall?
Are you sure it wasn't lack of funds in your account?

I'll just answer you simply. How do you know that it is only Christians condemning the pastors, we have atheist flooding the Christian posts with insult even the same Muslims go about insulting Christian too, why can't they be a Christian section where you have to declare Jesus as the lord and only savior. Why is it that the Islam must have a special section and be give preference
I want Christian to have their own section too,and there be acknowledgement before posting too. But I still want seun to retain the one for islam section too. I repeat,I can't imagine how nairaland will be if anyone can just comment on islam threads, the hate speech will be worse than politics section. I know what I'm saying,I read unprintable vile words here during Israel/Hama's conflict, imagine a conflict between two foreign nations that their citizens might not know Nigeria exist, some people took it personal,in the name of defending Israel, they transferred their hatred to Nigerian Muslims.
You have a point about the fact that those criticizing pastor's could be Atheist, but I believe most are so called Christians. Remember before election, who are those cursing Adeboye because he didn't endorse any candidate? Be honest,do you think they're atheists or Muslims? NO. You know deep down, you know them.

Why should we acknowledge Islam to post in the Islam section of nairaland.com but Muslims and atheist can say anything in the Christian section.

Why is it that Segun or whatever he calls himself will set such a law?

Is Segun an extremist

Or

Is nairaland.com an Islamic forum ?

What is your take on this nairalanders
First there is no Christian section on Nairaland,I believe there should be,but there's none. We have Islam section and religion section. And there are thousands of religions,so it's not a vendetta against Christian directly, just as it isn't against Ogun worshippers or Scientology or Buddha.
Secondly,As a Christian I have never have a problem about acknowledging anything before posting on Islam threads because I don't have any business with Islam threads which is meant for Muslims. What do you want to say exactly on islam topics as a Christian? Be honest,if not to say trash and insult their faith
Thirdly,You will not see topics by Muslims degrading any Muslim sect or abusing their imams. But so called Christians create topics every Sunday to condemn what Adeboye said, and to condemn deeper life because of their simple dressing, and to insult white garments churches, and to accuse one pastor of rape or called them thieves for collecting tithes etc.
Can't you see how vile and toxic you church goers are?
I thank seun for implementing such rule,to discouraged non Muslims from commenting on Islam threads. I can't imagine how terrible it would be on nairaland, the hatred and hate speech would spiral out of country, and consume this forum.
When I joined this forum,I like going to religion section to read Christian topics, but later I stopped, because I don't see topics that could make me grow in faith, instead I see topics by so called Christians condemning and criticizing churches and pastors and judging other Christians dressings and mode of worship and other irrelevant issues.
