There is available 7 units of newly cleared and serviced dump trucks in Lagos, available for lease/hire, preferably for use in the Ajah/Lekki/FTZ areas. We do daily charge out, and a minimum of three to six months contract will be ideal, and renewable on quarterly basis. Minimum of four (4) trucks per lessee/contractor will also be preferred. We will consider Ogun State transactions on case by case basis

The truck owners (Lessors) will be responsible for the provision of all permits and licenses, the drivers recruitment and training, and their salaries and allowances, and the truck maintenance.

The contractor/lessee will be responsible for daily fuelling, the provisions of safe park for the truck after daily usage and the accommodation of the drivers.

Trucks shall be available for work from Mondays to Saturdays.

Mode of Payment

The Hirer shall be requested to pay three days security deposit per truck to commence operations, and thereafter, there shall be daily payment for trucks usage in arrears of one day. That is, payment of Monday’s usage will be paid before Midday – (Noon) on Tuesday, Tuesday’s payment will be paid before noon on Wednesday and so on. Friday and Saturday’s payment will be due for payment before Noon on Monday.

I was going to let this issue slide as I do not like making noise for no reason and they seem to have made good, but now I am accused so I must clear my name. It is those who feel thepain who cry.
I contracted with them for Kitchen cabinet for my place in Kubwa even though I was in Lagos. I have been a fan for several years. All was going well. After payment I was told the material I wanted wasnt available. Koburu. No wahala. I no get problem.
I reached out in June 28th for an update as I have not heard any update. I am assured they started production snd he saw the additional credit. No wahala. i did not get any update again so I raech out on June 30th and ask how is production going he mentioned days ago. He assured me its going fine. I asked for a pic of the production and strangly my request is ignored.

No answer at all. That is when things changed. I send a message July1 early again about no update and if they are still coming on the planned Thursday July 2nd as promised as my inlaws will be around. I was in Lagos and not around increasing my worry. My inlaws were coming and there was no place to wash dishes and I had prepaid over N130,0000. No be moin moin for some of us. I came to Nairaland as a last resort. He did not answer until 10pm that he will come at 2pm the following day.

He shows up at the compound after 5pm. They did not do anything but leave some boxes and said they will come the following morning.
Next was when he assured me that they would be there early the next morning. His boys showed up before he did and he left them the site to handle other business. I have the chat logs and CCTV. Again, this is not my style. I do not wish to tarnish anybodys business. At the end if the day they did a fine job and I will hire them again. I can give them plenty business as an Abuja landlord. However, customer communication is critical.

Cost of Clearing Cars in Nigeria 2019

Its no longer news that Nigeria still does not manufacture cars (except for a few cases where we hear of cars being assembled in Nigeria).

This post will explain the method of charging duties and will list out the current cost of clearing some cars in Nigeria Tin can port, Cotonou (Seme Border), Apapa Port and other ports to deliver them to a client in Nigeria.

To clear a car from the port, Charges such as Nigeria Customs duty charge on imported cars, port charges and clearing agent charges will also need to be paid for this to be successfully carried out.

As of last year, the system by which the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) charges for clearing cars changed. Instead of charging according to year of manufacture, they now charge according to the cost of the car not the year of manufacture.

For USED CARS, the charge is 35% of whatever you paid for the vehicle as Duty and an additional payment for Tax (Surcharge, ETLS and VAT), while for NEW CARS, the charge is 35% of whatever you paid for the vehicle as Duty and additional levy of 35% making 70% of what you purchase.

So assuming you bought a used car for N2 million, you will pay Customs duty of N879,000, i.e 35% of #2,000,000 x (1.28 for tax) = #879,000.

NB: You will still have to pay for shipping company, terminal and other charges.

These price can be brought down if you can find a good clearing agent. Check below for some estimated cost of clearing some cars manufactured in the following year:

Zonal Offices Where to Clear Your Cars.

The popular ports in Nigeria through which cars are brought in are Tin Can port and Apapa port. You will only clear at Seme border if you’re importing your car from Cotonou. The various fees to pay at this border includes the custom duty, the port charge and the clearing agent fee.

Verification of car status can be done at any of the four zonal centres of the Nigerian Customs Service. It is at this place you pay the fees for your car’s uncleared status. The four zonal offices includes:

Zone A Headquarters, No. 1 Harvey Road, Yaba, Lagos;
Zone B Headquarters, Kabala Doki, Kaduna;
Zone C Headquarters, Nigeria Ports Authority, Port Harcourt and;
Zone D Headquarters, Yelwa Tudu Road, Bauchi State.

Another method of verification is to call or send an SMS to the following NCS numbers along side you C-number, the year you paid your duty and the port or location through which your car was brought into the country. The numbers to call are: 094621597, 094621598 and 094621599. You should receive a custom clearance after some few minutes.

* Droopin with blood ~ Coccidiosis.
* Greenish drooping ~ late stage of worms, ND Newcastle Disease, eaten not well dry materials or eaten alot green vegetables if free-ranged., fowl cholera.
* White, Milky running drooping ~ worms, gumboro disease (Infectious bursal disease) IBD.
* Brown runny drooping = E.coli infection.
* Yellow and Foaming drooping ~ Early stage of Coccidiostat.
* Black dropping ~ possibility of internal bleeding or too much of proteins.
* Clear or watery running drooping ~ stress or infection bronchitis..!
SOLUTIONS
For Coccidiosis = Toltrazuril base drug, Amprolium, Amprococ, Embacoc, Vitacox e.t.c
To deworm = Ivermectin base drugs and it also work for lice.
For Newcastle disease (ND or NCD) = laSota vaccine.
For Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) = Gumboro vaccine.

For Internal bleeding = you have stop and pend the Antibiotics drugs using at that period then place them on vitamins for 3-5 days. Consigning the too much of proteins, one need to amend the feed formulation by analyse and runs the test at lab, and if you're purchasing finished feed report to the supplier or change the feed.
For the stress = is likely you stressed them for particular reason, like transferring from one place to another or they have too much heat or lack of unbalanced, instability and insufficient of water or feeds. All these are highly in need of amendments then place them on vitamins to compensate. Thanks!

What can one do to address d issue of soil effect on d farmland & d cocoa plantation. Imagine, a piece of farmland left fallowed for over 15 years, if cultivated now, it'll not yield anything. So, d low fertility of d land may be responsible for d low yields on cocoa & kola too.

4 things N250 billion would do.

-It would repair 2500 km of bad roads @ 100 million Naira per km. That's would effectively make all trunk A federal roads in the country motorable.

-It would build 5 world class state of the art specialist hospitals @ a whooping N50 billion per unit for Kidney, Heart, Cancer, Trauma and Infectious diseases. These would effectively end medical tourism in Nigeria. In fact Africa would come here to get treated.
