Even without a strong opposition candidate, Soludo would find it to win a second tenure, the supposed professor arms touts to be wasting innocent lives, stripping female youth corps service members naked, beating people up pestle/ako odo, extorting etc and have refused to disband there groups despite public outcry. Useless professor. |
sexyking1:in Igbo tradition, sleeping with another man's wife is an abomination. |
Smartwave:if you're an Igbo, you would know that an Ichie is not supposed to sleep with another man's wife. Christianity brought changes in title taking that allowed such misbehaviours. A tilted man who swore upon the deities of the land wouldn't do this. |
spiceadole:Biko, don't generalize with that man o, I heard he's already married with two wives, that tells you the type of person he is. |
I heard that this man is already married with two wives making her the third. That this man is still an Ichie tells you how messed up our traditional institutions are. |
Sirchiboy:you're definitely not from the southeast if your parents are this unmotivated. The truth is that some parents are a stumbling block to their families and the economy is only magnifying this now. |
How is the job market for freshly minted chartered accountants? |
Kobojunkie:stop using insult as a defense mechanism,I told you that he was at work. Google the news. Neighbours called him from his place of work when the fire was discovered. |
Kobojunkie:I think he went to work, you can Google the news,it happened years ago. Blindly defending your fellow women would stain your white. |
Olisaeloka= God have great plans for me. APC doesn't have anything to campaign with that's why they're always after Peter Obi, his family or anyone remotely associated with him. |
Like Buhari like Tinubu. They're just enjoying their retirement at the detriment/cost to the nation. |
ogbongenet:sorry if I'm asking a question that have already been answered before, from your practical experience, what's the best planting distance for tomatoes, pepper, okra, cucumber and garden eggs? |
okoroemeka:chief,I haven't been seeing your posts lately,I hope all is well? |
He should relocate to Anambra state. Thunder fire not enough original content. |
The amount of APC sponsored propaganda against Peter Obi is mind boggling. Obi is a goal. |
danvon:proper management matters a lot,we lack it in Africa. |
All the eastern ports especially Onitsha are very economically viable but poor governance and backward politics wouldn't allow them to thrive,we still have a long way to go in this country but who's the leader to lead us on that journey? |
RIP English. This is just a tragicomedy. Funny enough, he's more likely to get a federal job or political appointment than his better educated peers from the south. |
It's obvious that JAMB have single out the south East for this glitch https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18G5sXq553/ JAMB and Federal Government: Please Stop Creating Unnecessary Expenses and Risks for Our Students *~Mgbechi Emmanuel Igwebuike (Evang)* Yesterday 7th August, 2025, after receiving numerous calls from distressed students, I decided to visit the JAMB Office in Amawbia, Anambra State. These calls came from young people who have been stranded there since Tuesday, seeking to upload their O’Level results or process a change of institution and course. What I discovered was deeply troubling. Students told me they were compelled to return day after day, spending at least ₦8,000 daily on transportation, feeding, and other costs - yet after three days, many had not even been attended to. Their frustration was palpable, and their hope, slowly eroding. Upon further investigation, I learnt that these essential services are now being processed only at the JAMB state office in Amawbia, because all other JAMB-accredited CBT centres in the state have been denied access to the relevant portal. Out of 28 approved centres in Anambra, 17 have been blacklisted, while the rest have had their service access restricted. In many cases, the operators of these centres were not even informed of specific reasons for this sanction - only the vague statement, “under investigation.” An additional finding from a staff member inside the Amawbia office revealed the alleged reason for this crackdown: some CBT centres were said to have been charging students exorbitant fees for changes of institution and course. But here is the obvious question - if JAMB already regulates the cost of UTME registration nationwide, why can’t it also regulate and enforce a fixed price for these other services, instead of shutting down access entirely? By cutting off access to all centres, the action has created an even bigger problem than the one it sought to solve. Hundreds of students from across Anambra - some travelling from the most remote villages - are now forced to converge on a single office. Many have made four to five fruitless trips without success. To make matters worse, services that would normally cost ₦1,500 or ₦2,500 at accredited CBT centres are now costing up to ₦15,000 at the state office, often inflated by unofficial charges, where some students have to pay an extra amount to lobby their way in. Even more alarming is that the centre has suspended all other services, such as regularisation and correction of data, leaving students with no clear path to resolve pressing academic issues. This situation is both unjust and avoidable. These are young Nigerians - our future leaders-already carrying the heavy burden of economic hardship, insecurity, and uncertainty. Now, they are being pushed into further financial strain, exposed to travel risks, and made to endure emotional stress that could have been prevented. The timing makes it even worse: many universities have already commenced their post-UTME screenings, yet these students cannot complete the necessary JAMB changes to qualify. Their academic futures are hanging by a thread-not because they failed to meet requirements, but because of bureaucratic bottlenecks. I understand that JAMB must uphold integrity and fairness in its processes. But must students be made to bear the brunt of anti-corruption measures? Couldn’t these centres have been allowed to continue under strict monitoring and regulated pricing, pending the conclusion of investigations? Education remains the hope of our nation. We cannot afford to let administrative roadblocks destroy the dreams of our youths. I appeal passionately to the Federal Government, the Honourable Minister of Education, and JAMB leadership to urgently: 1. Restore access to accredited CBT centres for essential services like O’Level uploads and change of course/institution. 2. Enforce price regulation for all JAMB-related services, not just UTME registration. 3. Ensure transparency by clearly communicating reasons for blacklisting and providing timelines for resolution. 4. Put students first by removing unnecessary financial burdens and limiting their need for repeated long-distance travel. Our students are not asking for charity-they are asking for fairness, efficiency, and compassion. Let us not abandon them at the very gates of their future. |
Your father was a corrupt and clueless leader,a mass murderer filled with tribalism and nepotism, the worst president in the country's history second only to Tinubu if not worse than him. At least, Tinubu is not as blood thirsty as your father. |
This thread have been overrun by APC paid online influencers trying to give credit to Tinubu government for a private company project that started before Tinubu became president. All these wouldn't change the fact that Tinubu government have nothing to show despite removal of subsidies leading to the government been awash with money. |
Ndipe:I have nothing against teachers rather I'm pointing out that she got no money. |
What type of 21 years old young man ruins his life over a 26 years old single mother of 3 working as a mere nursery school teacher? Both of them are probably sick in the head. |
As far women are concerned, just get money and the rest is history. |
This thread is already been overrun by APC paid online influencers defending Wike the land grabber. |
Peter Obi is the man of the moment,he generates more news than the sitting president. |
Seun, move this to the frontpage to balance the earlier report on the frontpage. |
Say it again,Igbo amaka. We move. |
Childish propaganda. |
pastorarynzay:but Israel should have nuclear weapons? Please take a moment to write a quality post with at least 40 characters. This will make the forum more interesting for everyone. |
Haiti suffered a devastating earthquake then if indeed he gave them money, you can't compare what he did to what Tinubu did. |
