I'm not really against Miracle as a person. I'm against the motivations behind people's support for him, and these motivations seem to be predicated solely on his looks. I find these motivations to be dangerously problematic because they reflect how the average Nigerian youth thinks; extremely superficially, with no concern for intellectual needs or interests and minimal value attributed to competence. This isn't the kind of thinking that will help Nigeria move forward. I care about Nigeria, but that care is beginning to wane. It seems its citizens don't want to be emancipated from the throes of underdevelopment; which has it's origins in the mind of the Nigerian individual. Emancipate the mind, emancipate the individual. no, you guys are still wrong. Having a favorite anything is about having interest in that particular thing. E.g my hubby is a music lover, I am a book lover. He loves his music so much our sound system is something else. So my hubby might be gisting me. He would say something like "this guy just released a single" and I will be like "that guy with yellow hair?" See, I am not dumb, I merely don't go and start cramming their names in my head and he knows this, so he will just laugh and mention the guy's name. 1. If he asks me 10mins later, I might not remember and 2. This is because he's not intelligent enough to differentiate between an actor and a character. Do you see a correlation between the mind of miracle and that of a 5 year old?
