My advice for newbie venturing into Agricbusiness is not to be eager to make quick returns, from experience people with that mindset get their fingers burnt. Think medium to long term. A friend told me yesterday how he is regretting planting cashew many years ago because he thought cashew is long term and not patient to wait for it. He did not know that cashew can be intercrop with cassava or vegetables; you can be generating returns from cassava/vegetable year in year out while you wait for the cashew to mature.
Now, he would have become a millionaire cashew farmer.
I have seen the price of cashew skyrocket from 110k per ton in 2011 to reach about 650k per ton in 2018 and it's projected to go up because of the demand. Ogbomoso produce the best cashewnut in the world and its the home of cashew.
Life of small scale farmers have been changed cultivating this crop and the most important thing about it is that you keep generating returns up till 50years if well managed.
If you are thinking of venturing into agribusiness, this should come on top for long term/short-medium term depending on whether you will be planting another crop with it. The demand were so high that we could not supply our partners about 500 tons and therefore we are focusing on expanding our cashew cultivation.
If you want to be part of the investors at the cashew farm estate, you can contact me.

YoungLionken: Femi could have replied with "I tried but couldn't, learnt alot from him though, anyway we shall get there" and there are also a thousand ways to be polite and humble as regards to his father. As far as I'm concerned, Femi didn't do well with such statement regarding baba Fela, his own dad. Period! I'm more than enlightened on various issues. The fact that I disagreed with your perspective doesn't mean I'm not...
You made no sense and you will still not not make any sense if you keep spewing rubbish. Do you even listen to his songs? Go listen to his songs then come back to comment.
brianromel: Why is a Firm Based in Indian looking for companies in Nigeria who can supply products they can easily get from India or their Neigbors in Malayasia Indonesia and China.?
They usually believe they can get cheaper price from Africa. This is the reason they often fall into wrong hands, people who quote cheap price just to scam.
rentAcock: You are still a dunce, no wise person travels overseas to read a course dominated by 95% whites, that's taking a chance with the odds stacked against you. Just like you will be foolish studying forestry or hypnotism in school as an African foreigner, sure a few people might get a lucky break, but you are gambling. I don't expect you to understand this point though, idiots never do.
You made no sense....and you will never make any sense.
Kellibae: U and this tout can not lead us. There are better options in youths. All u brainless people supporting this uncouth tout will burn and perish

Marotzke: There were no serious problems between the two. Funke is from the St Daniels family. Very rich family and she was highly educated. After ten years as a dancer with Yeni kuti and late Sola kuti femi's younger sister, she decided to heed the voice of reason. She is now a Director in one of her father's companies. Femi on his own part felt that as fela pikin, having one child is an aberration . So he decided to impregnate as many women as possible while he still can. ( you see how reconciliation go hard?) So why should they fight? And how can Made reconcile them? Did femi reconcile Fela with his own mother ?
Bros.. You don't know the story. Things went down. I was very much aware of what went down. It involved eddy remedy. Funke had an affair with him. Remedies used to perform in shrine then.. Boys even planned to beat up eddy then but femi kicked against it. That was also what led to his break up with kenny st brown ogungbe although it wasn't immediate.
xendra: Abeg make d girl go sit down, you open your legs for a jerk and now want to force a man out of him. What does she want really? Yet more foolish girls are bearing kids for that he-goat and tomorrow they want our sympathy

Even nairaland isn't helping ... I started a thread on Leah when Buhari was in the US.. Here's the link: https://www.nairaland.com/4682471/urgent-letter-acting-president-yemi The mods never deemed it fit to move it to the Frontpage. But if it were thread about davido, Tonto dikeh, toke makinwa, snakes, slay mama, Dino melaye. It will be on the front page within seconds. My thread on Leah was way before the British guy did the solo protest. I wasn't begging for Frontpage, I wrote it cos I remembered Leah. Nairaland is trash
