If Chelsea have six to ten attacking minded players, why do you need a striker? Felix can play as a striker because he is versatile. Sancho can come in and net from the flanks. Mudryk can make it happen once in a while. Too many wide men means you have options to try new ideas to overcome the opponent. If Maresca were a smart coach, he would work magic with these plenty talents in attack

The simple point nateevs have been making for months. You create a system that enables your attacking band to create and score at will, not to be foolishly looking for a 30-goals a season striker.

I told you that going into the season with Sterling and Madueke was more of an emergency than the striker position, and any manager worth his salt - especially one who values positional football and trained with Pep - would realise immediately the garbage we are displaying in wing play.

The ruthlessness with which Enzo and the club have dealt with this confirms which department is more of an emergency. So we went out there and got Neto and Felix first.

These managers know that from a game of numbers, you can achieve top four consistently without a £120m striker, if your defence, midfield and wing play is top notch.

Anything else, and you are just Tottenham with Harry Kane.
