Haven't had any issues yet. Battery life improved, phone got lighter and hardly gets warm now even when playing game(PUGB) For over 2 hours straight.

No bro, it doesn't messes up anything.
This is wat happens, it'll revert the the theme to default after u choose ur preferred font, and that's the last time that will happen, As long as the device doesn't turn off, whatever theme you select after that revert back to default stays that way.

But, I always reboot.... cry

What's the way out?

How to Install Third Party Fonts on MIUI 10/MIUI 9

Step 1: First download and install this app MIUI Custom Font Installer.

Step 2: Open this app and click on Browse Font.

Step 3: Select the font which you want to apply.

Step 4: Type the font name and select Next.

Step 5: Click YES for Without font preview Image? and click on Install. Now your Font has been Installed.

Step 6: Now you can select this font from the System font and click on Apply.

Thought @Ifedith dropped this sometime ago. It always messes up phones; reverting the theme you set to default everytime you choose a new font.
