Don't think it's true, the Indian version is Quick charge 2.0, Chinese version is Quick charge 3.0 have not tested sha.

So Redmi 5 plus only supports QC 2.0 and not 3.0?

Well, my fears have been confirmed.
I went to the post office for my Redmi 5 plus and I was charged #6,077 (#5,027 for customs and #1,050 for Nipost).
This is really absurd and fishy at the same time. Even the guys at the PO were shocked when they saw the fee I was asked to pay.

Is it true that some items which were inspected by customs sometimes get lucky and are not charged at all? Or what are the chances of being charged should my item be held? I'm in a similar situation right now.

Those customs people fit give person cardiac arrest oo. Expecting my item tomorrow or Tuesday; it was sent to customs for inspection on Friday after it arrived Nigeria. I don dey pray since then with fast sef.
