Holuwaxheun: Yes. Still observing the performance, but it has improved after formatting the phone after the update. Temperature is btw 38 to 40 degrees when put to use, with data on. Initially, temperature rose to 45 degrees without data on... Which network is that? I use Glo which is always bad here. Hence, the awful SOT. Will change to Airtel double data later this month. I have not enjoyed my RN4X battery ever since I bought it. Glo should liquidate

Holuwaxheun: My phone performance on the Miui9 v9.2.3.0 is back to normal after formatting the phone.
Check the SOT below (Redmi 4x)
Kindly note that, battery was charged up to 92% before being put to use. You were on edge throughout? |

Gptech: Of course it's not good enough even though it depends on individual usage. It's possible there is nothing wrong with our rom because your network is poor, this actually drains lots of power juice. If you don't mind, you can do factory reset like twice more and use your phone like that. If you did backup of apps, just install them afresh to flush out bugs. I think it is a network ish. Glo is exceptionally bad here. |

jboixxx: Oga o. Where me de pray make NEPA carry light, huh? Ok, try d reset first and let's see. Hope you don't charge your phone with a low voltage, <100v? Lol na so we see am oo I don't think I've ever charged with low voltage. I'll try factory reset then give you feedback. Thanks! |

jboixxx: This is not good. You may do a system reset, but endeavour to calibrate your bat3 by using it till it gets to 0 (off automatically), then leave it off and charge till it gets to 100%. Tweak your battery settings to notify you when it gets to certain temp (settings > battery > power > gear icon at the top right > set battery drain notification ON if off) . . |

Callibrating it could prove to be suicidal Saying electricity is epileptic here is an understatement. We haven't received power supply in two days. Sometimes 3-4 days straight.Even my landlady won't allow gen usage. I think factory reset would be my best bet here. What do you think, sir? |

jboixxx: Post your SOT stat too. Did you reset your device after updating and has your battery been calibrated afterwards too? Temperature, usage patterns, netw stability, new app(s) installed? Any of these could affect your battery. I didn't reset my device nor did I calibrate my battery. I think the temperature could be an issue too coz it always gets hot on mild to slightly heavy usage. Maybe I should try factory reset?

My RN4X battery has been inferior for some time now to say the least. It has not always been so good but it has never been has bad as it is now. I even changed memory optimisation to 'middle' in developer options but it has now gotten worse sef. Dunno if it's because I upgraded from 9.0.5.0 to 9.0.7.0?
