It depends on certain factors:
- Your intellectual capacity
-The nature of the proposed work
-The nature of the masters you are about to take. If it is the type that requires rigorous academic work I do rather suggest you drop the idea of work cos graduating with a high cgpa will boast ur future chance (scholarship).
If I were in your shoe,I do drop the idea of work for now since dad is going to foot the bill

does high cgpa matter in masters?... really... for example MBA

Can someone sheld more light on the recruitment process, I actually applied since Feb and uptill now I've not heard from stanbicibtc, meanwhile I have more than 8 years banking experience. S ther any other special way of applying? because I am surprised reading all this comment Abt recruitment stages while I am still waiting to b called. Can someone Pls help out

if u didn't get an invite u should have reapplied na....havnt heard of special application so far...well y not try reapplying now both via email and online process.....they might still be calling for assessment..... check the first 5 pages of this thread to know how everybody here applied......wish u d best of luck....

its bsc only, its contract staff 75k....i have been dropping ma cv almost every quarter since last yr.....but didnt get any invite till yesterday....and the d last time i dropped was 3 months ago......so good luck to everybody on this thread...God will help us all.

Insightful. Thanks! What's this BTA level? Are you going in as graduate trainee with a B.Sc and to begin from the banking school? The grade after completing banking school, I learnt, is ABO.

3. Would your marketing be based on deposit or credit achievement?
4.What would be your KPI's?
5. Considering that stanbic ibtc's entry level is ABO (I may be wrong), would you be given the next grade (supposedly BO) if coming in as an experienced hire who is currently on entry level at their present bank. NB: Your entry level in your present bank is less than the grade of an ABO. What factors determine the grade you will be given, generally?

Contributions from the entire house would also be appreciated.

basically this is the job purpose-
Proactively promote a relationship-based offering through operating as a dedicated and primary point of contact for customer in the branch, providing banking solutions which meet the customer’s needs in accordance with each of personal banking segment’s value proposition.
 Provide an efficient personal banking service and support to a portfolio of branch based clients across the variops segments.
 Achievement of expansion, cost management and customer retention targets through a proactive call plan and active cross selling.
 Provide customers at the branch with basic day – to – day services.

they call it 'relationship management'.......but brother it falls under marketing.....though not like the DSA kinda marketing.

and from the job description, it encompasses both deposit and credit achieements

KPI=Portfolio/balance sheet growth
 Sales performance (meeting and exceeding of targets as per scorecard and dashboard).
 Financial performance (growth in customer and portfolio revenue through retention, acquisition and increased cross-sell).
 Planning and management of customer calling program.
 Minimal non-performing loans, accounts in excess, unlimitised accounts, overdue reviews and credit application rework.
 Service quality measured by customer satisfaction surveys.
 Compliance, routine control & audit reports

I am actually coming in as an entry level...so my proposed grade is a level lower than ABO....its BTA level......and grading and levels would be determined by experience levels and could be negotiated if asked during the course of the interviews.

this is as much as i know....subject to corrections

I know quite a number that have resumed between January and April though most are NFTEs that were upgraded to FTEs. At least 1 is an outsider with no banking experience. The recruitmemt is in batches eventhough its done on a regional/zonal basis. Some stages still require input from the center, like the exco chat and candidates are merged irrespective of their regions.
