Business › Re: Can The Finance Minister Remove The CBN Governor? by gtrust: 10:34pm On Jun 24, 2011
Islamic banking is a very good thing!
They do NOT charge interest on loans,
clients are expected to make a contribution from their
profit in good faith to the bank!

You don't need to be muslim to bank with them, I understand!
I wish the thing can start now now, I need loan I beg!

At same time, it brings competition to other banks re their interest rate.

The CBN is NOT a private bank!
The CBN governor cannot be removed until he completes his 'tenure'.
He obviously can be 'impeached' by decree and that has never been tried b4!

I guess it is always easier to let them complete their tenure and the President
can decide to extend etc etc,
Politics › Re: Aunty Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Set To Be Named As Finance Minister by gtrust: 10:18pm On Jun 24, 2011
She did not 'dash money' to Paris Club & London Club or IMF.
What she did is what is called quick settlement: it amounts to
20p per pound!
It's a good (infact, excellent) deal and ONLY the rich can avail of it.

You need to blame the person (or people) who arranged those extraordinarily
high interest rate loans ab-initio.

Properties › Re: Plots Of Land For Sale @ Platinum Park Estate (magboro) Nigeria (With Pictures) by gtrust: 4:00pm On Apr 30, 2011
noticed the difference in prices of 3.5m & 1m for plots in Magboro. Also noticed the gate-house for Platinum Regal is bigger than that of Platinum Park. Noticed the pace of work in Platinum Regal is more advance with sand-filling on-going etc and NOT for Platinum Park.
These 2 estates seem to be walking distance to each other.
Can you clarifyhuh
