Well, as far as I am concerned, Carleton and Centennial can stick their popularity up their rectal cavities The salary one can earn with an MBA from UVic is much more than what is earnable with all the degrees in Centennial put together (pun intended) Not to talk of the 3 years PGWP that's obtainable after the MBA compared to just 1 year PGWP that would have been obtainable if any of those "Popular" schools had given me admission. Feel free to attribute it to the demand factor, I attribute it to the God factor anytime anyday!

Situations and circumstance aare different.
Not everybody has the kind of liberty to leave work whenever they can so they'll prefer to do it once and for all since they believe in their app.

All in all that non refundable fee isn't big deal to some people.
There's also an instruction on the CIC website to do medicals if you can to increase the speed of ur app.
Well it's only ur opinion and it sud b respected.

True bt he made it look like most pple who did upfront medicals,did it Becos dey dint want to be delayed,funny enuf I also did upfront medicals nd got my TRV,I also knw a lot of peeps dat did nd got upfront medicals.so dnt discourage pple let dem chose,d upfront medical is valid for 12 months too.

I don't really understand why people prefer doing medical upfront, despite medical, majority were still delayed.
I will advice people to spend wisely since medical fees are non refundable.
Always obey instruction, do medicals when ever you are asked to do so, SIMPLE.
Congratulations to my last born am so happy for him, passport request, mission fulfilled.
Now 4 family members in Ontario.
Am grateful to God and i will always be grateful.

Despite that I was not going for visit but studies.

I mailed my sch to defer the admission till 2016 winter

School refused and opted to :

* prepare a doc and sent to accra and Lagos office, I was copied tho.
The letter came in this evening and it was really a very nice one. I'm almost encouraged to refire.

* allow late resumption for me, the Dean of faculty of Graduate Studies promised to collaborate with my faculty to ensure this

* defer till Fall 2016, all the findings over 25k CAD not certain sha

The gurus who are not overtaken with travelling, Abeg, advice me, I don't want this opportunity to go to waste.

refire it's not to late,U can do an upfront medicals too.

I am new on Nairaland and have been going through the trends although a bit lengthy and difficult to read all. I applied to four fours in Canada for my masters in Economics- University of Ottawa, University of waterloo, Brock University, Wilfrid laurier university and did not get any of the admission. I have very good grades and finished with 4.49 in school and have about 4 year experience in a good company. I am wondering what I could have done wrong and was very pained when I didn't get any of the admission. Can anyone here advise me.

Sorryabt d denials,d truth is dat wen applying for admission Ur statement of purpose is key.its not jst CGPA or work experience,it's ur ability to sell Urself with a sound statement of purpose, U wld b suprise someone wit 3.5 will get admitted,so my candid advise is to write a sound nd convincing SOP wen applying again.

Hello GU2015 and Team 12, I just called Consultant practice cos I did an upfront medical, and was told they already sent my medical report since June. Pls, how do I go about it since CiC is requesting for a medical info now?

Ok,if u can go to d hospital yourself it's beta,cos I went to d hospital with d medical form they sent to me requesting my Medicals and also d upfront medical report I uploaded.so the doctor did them a mail informing them Abt the issue.nd d next 1hr I had an update medical passed.hope dis helps

I was asked fr collection slip.. The passport copy (with the receipt) that was given to you during biometrics

really,I sent jst my passport ,passport request mail and a return envelop addressed to me thru UPS dint send d passport Copy nd receipt dat was given to me during biometrics,hope it won't affect d return of my passport.

hello, got medical request last week Wednesday and was scheduled for medicals today at IOM due to the public hols not knowing the refusal correspondence was already in CIC too

Has Ur application bin closed on CIC?

it's well, a friend was telling me he meet a gal in prime ph, wen he went for his own medicals,she got a medical mall, a day before,nd as she arrived d hospital,she got a refusal mail.only God can explain wat happened.

to do an upfront medicals jst check on CIC website nd U will see d prime hosp contact,call d no nd dey will tell u all u Nid to come wit.it cost 30k.

i jst went to d clinic to lay my complain with d new medical letter sent me nd upfront medical sheet. Guess d doctor mailed them to clarify....d next 1hr I saw u have an update in my CIC account saying medicals passed.
