Me too. I have already wired dstv in our house, after receiving a message for decodetr SWOP i just disconnect the old multichoice decoder. Now i have gotten the dstv explora decoder, i just plugged in the cables but i cant show. Writting "pg blocked" bla bla bla. How do i get the right connection gurus in the house?

PG is parental guide maybe it's on.

I got a Gotv for my granny, but the signal goes off for some seconds and comes back, then repeats same again after like 5mins. What could be the solution to this or is it a factory problem?

Ur signal strength is not high enough. Go to Signal information and increase ur signal above 90%.

E017 means ur decoder has not been activated. I dont know it has been cleared though will verify later and clear the error if possible

Please I need assistant, I activated my Gotv on 21/02/2015 and since then is showing "E017-0:The decoder is not enabled for this channel"on other stations expect NTA, LTV (with no volume) and Channel 99 and I'm still entitled to 1 month free subscription.

Put ur IUC here and on ur decoder it must work.

Hello house, is anyone here using ACTV, I want to know if they really have alternative to some DSTV channels in terms of foreign entertainment. Am not a sport person, so I don't care about the sport channels, my concern are the Movies, documentary/science, Kiddies and general family entertainment.

ACTV is NOT marketable in Nigeria.
Monthly charges are very high, English Primiership lacking.
Managers are naive to satellites activities and completely succeeded in not taking into cognizance the economic hardships in Nigeria. DStv still carries the GOLD MEDAL in Africa.

I recently purchased a unit from a friend who bought it but had no network reception of it in his area whereas there's d reception in mine. But when I tried setting it up as in just plugging and booting the decoder, it shows me blank screen and the remote presses doesn't reflect on the tv.

Am thinkng that cos twas registered in a different state, does it have such effect? Or is the decoder not good?

Very simple
Press P- and P+ on ur decoder and then exit, go to menu and rescan. That is all

Sorry for seeing this late, it's b/c 4 sometime now I hardly find time to visit the SATELLITES section.
STARSAT is very simple to fix, with ur Strong decoder, input this transponder: 11940V/27500 and position ur dish at 5 degree east. After u hav tracked the signal, remove ur strong and put ur STARSAT decoder, put it on, select Nigeria where necessary, it wud scan and then update itself for about 20 minutes, thereafter u wud be set 4 EXPLORATION.
If it has been activated it will start showing after 5 minutes.
If it has not been activated u can contact me or type ur Smart Card no here 4 ACTIVATION free of charge.

Only few channels such as CNN, Afmagic Family, Blitz, Select 2 etc are missing on 1k bouquet. However, u will still like what u will find in dat 1k bouquet.
