Indingenous company do not have the tecnical know hopw neither do they have the skill to do so. Neither do they even want to learn, corruption has finsished us alot. If governmnet decideds to fund them with such loan, the project will never be completed. they will completely siphone the money through corruption.

Shell Former CEO BVB messed up big time on this one. You sanctioned FID for the NLNG train 7, but only sanctioning the HI project that is supposed to feed the gas to Train 7 today. Only Total's Ubeta project will feed gas to Train 7 pending when HI comes online, and then Shell will continue to pay penalties to NLNG for not meeting with their commitments for gas supply to T7.

Train 7 just like Nigerian refinery

He was loved by his colleagues — known for his calmness, discipline, and dedication. And just six months ago, he got married.Everyone thought it was the start of a beautiful union. But behind the smiles and military uniform, something was breaking apart — quietly, painfully. It was the night of September 22, 2025. Inside their apartment at the barracks, an argument started between Lt. Haruna and his wife. Some reports say the fight began because his wife found messages on his phone — messages she believed came from another woman.

Voices were raised… tempers flared… and then, in one dark moment — she snapped. According to reports, Mrs. Haruna grabbed a can of petrol, poured it on her husband… and struck a match. The flames consumed him instantly. Neighbors rushed out. Some tried to help — shouting for water, sand, anything to stop the fire. Inside that barracks, chaos filled the air. Lt. Haruna was rushed to the Military Reference Section (MRS) inside the barracks. He was still alive — badly burned but conscious. Doctors and soldiers worked through the night, trying to save him. He was later taken to the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital for advanced care.

But the burns were too deep… His body couldn’t take it anymore. Lt. Samson Haruna died from his injuries. News of his death spread quickly — first within the barracks, then across the country. A young army doctor… gone, not in battle, but at home. His wife — the woman he loved — was arrested immediately by military police. She is now in custody, as investigations continue. Neighbors described her as a quiet woman, not known for violence. So everyone kept asking the same question: What went wrong? Some reports claim she acted out of jealousy — saying she believed her husband was being unfaithful.

Others say the couple had been having regular arguments since their marriage. But no one expected it would end like this — in fire and death. The Nigerian Army has not yet released a full official statement, but sources confirm that Lt. Haruna’s body has been taken for burial rites according to military tradition. Every year, stories like this remind us of one truth — Anger, when left unchecked, can destroy everything we love. A moment of rage can end a life, a marriage, a future. There is nothing Juju about it at all. If you reason it without biases coloring your view, you would see it yourself. Anyways, as for one of the reasons why some divorced women go on to become sidechicks, well, there are several reasons.

➜ Society claims it is wrong to commit adultery, but then, rather than penalize the man and sidechick, lets them off, and in some cases, Society turns the blame on the wife for not being wifely enough or not having the prowess to protect her marriage from the other woman. All this is pressure placed on the wife, who now finds herself fighting depression, rejection, and also having to continue her wifely duties, all while the man and his sidechick continue to enjoy their lives as though nothing ever went wrong. Imagine a situation where even the man's family members receive gifts and entertain the sidechick behind the wife's back as though to say that they approve of the relationship, even as they continue to insist their son's wife continue to serve him judiciously in the home.
➜ Most Nigerian men treat their sidechicks so many times better than they treat their own wives.
