That's your reality, others have different reality,I too grew up in LAGOS during the military era,I grew up in apapa and it was a beautiful place back then,granted Lagos suffered a period of deterioration especially in the 90s and was revived by fashola but that doesn't take away the prior development which the military had implemented,there's still mounting heaps of rubbish all over LAGOS, etc,by the way a lot of places in other states have also become modern and improved,its just modernity and growth,it's not peculiar to LAGOS, what makes Lagos peculiar is the prior foundation of being a former capital.
