Orlando Owoh: No government has divided this country in tribal and religious lines like this. It's not entirely Jonathan fault ...the Ibos have contributed largely to that division. The same thing that the late Sardauna and Akintola said about them generations ago....they are repeating it because they are very close to the corridor of power. Even the Ijaws that own Jonathan are not this hateful..and more accommodating to criticism of the administration..unlike the Ibos. |
Orlando Owoh: You may "go and die." Ibadan is far better than Asaba. There is no water in Oshimili South LGA, where Asaba is. There is also no water in Oshimili North, Aniocha South and Aniocha North LGAs. The water they at this time of the year, for those that can't afford to drill boreholes which is expensive there, is the one they stored in the rainy season. If you to these LGAs, you will notice that in many compounds there are big wide pits that are always round in shape, and some metres above ground level. They are covered with roofing sheets. At the edge of the roofs of the the buildings in these compounds, are drain pipes which channel the rain water of the year to the pits that would store it. The water here would be used during the dry season. Seriously ? |
kettykin: How does telling the truth with hard facts and analysis translate to hatred, the fact is that lagos Economy is running on borrowed/Stolen Niger Delta legs and the real owner of the legs (Niger Delta) has woken up from its slumber and is coming for its legsSo you called some conjectural craps you pulled from the darkest part in your body facts? You must have a different meaning of that word. Come and live in Lagos for 6 months without break....and realize you've been living in delusion about the city for a long time... |
kettykin: Despite the economic parasitism lagos does not really generate much IGR but depends on 80% of its IGR on the PAYE Taxes paid by Niger delta oil and gas companies, PAYE from banks owned by Delta igbos, PAYE from import and export businesses owned majorly by igbo businesses and Dangote, PAYE from telecommunications companies owned by south African, Indian and middle eastern companies, PAYE from IT companies run majorly by igbos, the yearly taxes paid by igbo traders, business men in Alaba, computer village, ladipo, idumota e.t.cwith out these Lagos wouldn't generate more revenue than any of the core eastern states and delta stateThe problem with people like you is ignorance....profound ignorance. That is the only way to explain your rants that is not only meaningless but is utterly lacking in logic is the fact that you talk away far from Lagos, your putrid hatred for Lagos, and your insane wish for the downfall at all times. |
atlwireles: Delta State, PAYE accounted for over N42.565 billion in 2012; N244.195million from road taxes; N123.4million from direct assessment, while N2.635billion came from other sources during the year.Working with your figures: PAYE...mostly from personal income tax of oil workers.....42.565 billion 93.34% Others sources ( From other levies on oil related coys) ... 2.653 billion 5.82% Direct assessment ( on what ?). .123billion. 0.30% Road taxes. ( thugs setting up road blocks). .244billion. 0.54% Total. 45.585billion It clearly established that you are just showboating over nothing here...as the bulk of the IGR comes from oil and allied services and not from the ingenuity of the state internal revenue officials... |
Mandiba and Jesus Christ on earth .....what would the children be? |
You get time! Na Willy you dey do back and forth with? |
VICTORCIZA: Correct that ibo to igbo if you expect any reasonable igbo to answer youWhat is wrong with Ibo? |
The foolish OP ran away already... |
igbeke: if dat's all u cud see in him, den u r such a failed project.What else..he was basically a story teller....a fictional story-man. He aren't a scientist..No? |
The usual attachment..... Attache by force ![]() One...a uniting force for his people....Africa and the world at large The other...a hater of his country of birth...hatred for everybody in Nigeria not Ibo....and died a very bitter and hateful man. |
On Jan 15th 1966...the Ibo officers were on a murderous rage...killing everybody and everyone that is not Ibo.. Chief Jeremiah Obafemi Awolowo and the Yorubas are eternally grateful to the people of Calabar and Gowon for not allowing the murderous Ibos to get near him that night.. |
Thanks to the power of Social media. |
eGuerrilla: That fact that you have summoned clannish sentiments to defend Madam Oduah since this story first broke, is most unbecoming of someone who otherwise projects an abhorrence of corruption. Take a dose of prescription you proffer comrade, as it is still not too late to retrace your steps. It would have been better for him to remain mute...rather than give a support to clear malfeasance . He claims to be working against corruption on one hand...but here clearly working over drive to clear this woman. He should leave this sort of job to Sincere9igerian...and PointB |
ibn akogun: That structure is just too massive mehn. Can't wait for the thing to kick off. Saw workers doing ground work to cross the bridge over to iddo. when it is completed I can leave my house in festac and get to island in 15 minutes very soon. That small portion is going to be a massive job....because of the swampy terrain. But they will finish up before the rain set in next year...by God's grace. |
FreeGlobe: Here we have it. The "shofisticated" intelligence that can't differentiate between Cinema and Theater. smhLeave dude alone...don't start going after perceived soft target He asked you...who bother going to theatre now? We have numerous and endless fun spots here in Lagos....let FG carry the NT away...we can use that land for more valuable venture. Ordinarily..the rail terminus was meant to terminate close to that place...but LASG was forced to shift it further along. Get the hell out of that village kid! |
FreeGlobe: The 3rd mainland bridge. And so because of the FIFA unacredited Teslim Balogun stadium the National Stadium should be turned to a Mecca of sort for the consumption of Ekiti Indian Hemp by Lagosians. Are you speaking Ibo ? ![]() Ok you referred to 3MB as Mainland bridge...we don't call it that here. All your rants are full of craps....not worth any decent response.. Next m0ron please! |
Baba ooooo... Lori Oke ati petele..Ibe ni won Gbe bi mi si oooo Ibe ni won gbe to mi dagba ooo Ile ominira .... Ma yo yo ma yo yo ooooo Lori Olumo Ma yo yo ma yo yo ooooo Emi omo Lisabi... Nulli Secondus .....Up Schoool BBHS We keep churning out leaders...... ![]() |
Cash and carry award.....better still pay-as-you-go award. |
FreeGlobe: How come all Yoruba states didn't build the mainland bridge, why are they allowing it to rot? what of National theater, national stadium etc. SW governors should team up, move in there and display their magic wand. smhNational theatre? Are you this dumb? Who goes there these days? We wanted to take it over ..the FG refused. There are cinemas scattered all over the state....a brand new one is under construction in Apapa right now ...close to Apapa club... National stadium....we have a better stadium directly opposite that now. Mainland bridge? Are you smoking? Which bridge is that? You had better escape from that village to get enlightened. |
pandriod: The same barbarian scum that claimed to have developed Lagos is the one crying here. Fashola built a better and more complex one within few months, while the so-called most industrious people on earth are still begging FG for this footpaths bridge. pathetic. The Ikoyi -Lekki link bridge is definitely longer than the Niger bridge with all the approaches. And these villagers don't ask profound questions while a state can single- handedly financed such marvelous bridge...while a combined 5 states are waiting for the FG for eternity to construct a mere less than 1km bridge. Sucks to be these villagers... |
belhomme: u no c beta tin to promote abiUna no go kill person with laff for NL |
He is the only one holding a cup of brandy.....shows how much he is at home with kai Kai |
geosegun: You mean Nigeria is not RICH enough to present New, I mean new, unused, no tears and wears aircraft during inauguration? This is absolutely ridiculous. It is a bad image for the entire Country. There is no nation without old aicraft but you see each national carrier presenting at least a Pristine aircraft to give more confidence and relaiblility to the would be customers. Personally with what I have heard I may not fly the new Nigeria Eagle- or whatever you call it - because of what im reading now.The bold are the operative words here: CONFIDENCE AND RELIABILITY. How can they engendered confidence in the flying public when your flagship aircraft is 20 yrs with three-generation ownership. Only people with death-wish fly such airline. |
Ayekotoo: you this tribalist fool. why bring in yoruba into the discourse? can't you do without bigotry statement? please don't derail this thread cos your attackers are reading on the sidelines. What do you expect from WillyWilly girlfriend.....? they are from the same ape planet. |
.. |
ocelot2006: The presidential fleet of aircrafts (fixed and rotary) is owned SOLELY by the Nigerian Air Force. So go on, scrap it.That is a lie from the pit of HELL.....go ahead and prove it.! |
WildChild00: Do or die, pdp must capture Lagos.Which PDP? The old PDP or New PDP....? Leave Alaibo to know what is going on elsewhere. Outside the old Eastern Region, PDP will struggle to win elections, not to talk of the SW, that the party is practically dead. |
