There is a breech I've seen in MCU and no one is saying anything about or they just chose to pay a blind eye to it.
At the end of Iron Man 3, Pepper had a super power with which she aided Tony Stark to defeat the villain, well that was the last time we saw a super powered pepper because the next pepper we saw was a non supe, so what happened, why wasn't pepper a super human after iron Man 3? Marvel needs to give an explanation for that. Can anyone explain that to me
That was no breach in the MCU, at the end of Iron Man 3, the extremis virus giving Pepper Potts her "super powers" was basically stabilized at the end of the movie(if you still remember), in other words she was cured. So the effects not popping up with her presence in the other movies signified that the stabilizing effect against the extremis virus worked fine.

Hope its clarified now?

Kei Nisikori retires while losing 6-1 6-1 to Djokovic...every time Djokovic reached AO semis he won, he next faces Lucas Poulle while Nadal faces Tsitsipas...

Osaka faces Pliskova while Collins plays Petra

It was hard seeing Nishikori bow out of the competition that way, I think throughout the AO he has played the most number of sets, body tell on am.

But Djokovic sha, he just grabbed the opportunity with both hands, both legs and his mouth cheesy

Looking forward to Tsitsipas vs Nadal

There you have it
Wow, its officially a reality. Do you know the release date they would be targeting? And has the rating been confirmed?
TV/Movies / Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by Guykhena(m): 12:59pm On Jan 23, 2019
Kaycee7:
Honestly, no. Unless a different team was in charge of the R-rated draft and then replaced with the PG-13 team.Because changing the rating does not in any way excuse the weak plot of Venom.
Exactly my point, it would have flopped hard, R- ratings are targeted at matured(age wise) audiences, and if they had served us that garbage of a plot we would puke on their faces( actually we did, judging from the ratings and reviews).

That's where PG-13 now comes into play, wider audiences including those that don't care about plots but just mindless actions, comes in to save face. Well like you said earlier if only they could all learn from the DP team, I hope CBM in general gets there.
TV/Movies / Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe by Guykhena(m): 9:18am On Jan 23, 2019
Kaycee7:
They should go and learn from the Deadpool team. Giving us all the R-rated gloriousness and still making their dough.
Also, perhaps, Venom might have been better had it not been re-written to suit a PG-13 audience.
To be sincere that Deadpool's own is a mystery , I've literally read so many articles about how DP despite being R-rated made so much money and became a cult following. What the DP team did is so unparalleled , of cus Logan's Success resonated from that of DP.

For Venom, if it had not been re-written to suit a PG-13 audience, do you feel it would be a critical and financial success?

And how did that turn out? A shitfest! That's what it was.
Lol definitely it was. But financial returns though, SS made a truckload of cash, that's what PG-13 brings to the table, a more wider audience ( which studio wouldn't like that?).

Now if a movie like let's say "Venom" was R rated limiting it to selected viewers do you think it would have made decent box office returns like it did? With the same crappy storyline? Not sure.

All these studios just care about the cash even if we the fans feel like the characters won't be done justice.

YOU AND I KNOW THAT BATMAN HAS A NO KILL CODE SAME CAN'T BE SAID FOR BLACK WIDOW WHOSE BACKGROUND HAS TO DO WITH KILLING.

IT'S JUST LIKE SAYING DC SHOULD MAKE A PG-13 DEATHSTROKE OR LOBO MOVIE. REMEMBER SHE IS ALSO A SEDUCTRESS
By giving The Dark Knight example, I didn't mean it for Batsy but rather for The Joker.

Seductress? Wait o don't tell me you are vying for an R rating just to see Scarlet Johansson getting smashed cheesy
On a serious note though, seduction can be sold well in a PG-13 setting, main thing is we know its happening it doesn't have to be fully shown.

For DC making a PG-13 movie for Deathstroke or Lobo, don't forget DC did a PG-13 Suicide Squad, so definitely they could

How do you tell a story of a young lady who was kidnapped, brainwashed and trained to be an assassin and a seductress by no other group but the USSR. That same lady is so lethal in all her mission and she loves using guns and lethal weapon [you know weapons that can kill or injure humans] and yet make it an fffing PG-13 movie?
Weapons like guns, knives, explosive devices right? They all have been featured extensively in many PG-13 productions.
There have been some "dark" PG-13 releases like The Dark Knight that still sells the gore just right.

I'm all for an R rating but I'm just more interested in seeing the back story of Natasha Romanoff adapted on the big screen, and if PG-13 is the only way to get it green lighted? Then I'm OK with it.

What would anyone have done to Thanos

He was more of a side character at best,, the Russo brothers even spoke about it in Interviews about how if they had known BP would be so huge they would have given him a bigger role in Infinity War and definitely definitely definitely not have a " Cash Cow" like BP turn to dust and not be a major player in Endgame (probably).

black panther is the first super hero movie to get nominated for best picture at the oscars cool

That's some serious achievement right there that would definitely stand the test of time.

Venom looks scary enough for a PG-13 movie but black widow would be a disaster
Not really, it could still work out fine, the main thing is give us a decent storyline about her backstory, and the shortcomings of it being a PG-13 would be overlooked .

Rumour has it black widow will be the first R rated marvel
movie

A PG-13 Black widow solo movie
This is Marvel Studios we are talking about, it's definitely gonna be PG-13.

It would be a shame though, won't really do the character much justice. They could still make the PG-13 work though, I mean it worked for "Venom" financially.

Agreed!

But who do you think will win if Punisher and Black Widow really go at it.
Definitely Black Widow, who has been trained and brainwashed since childhood by the "Black Widow Ops" of the U.S.S.R moulded into a perfect Spy and Assassin. Also she has some pretty handy tech.

Frank Castle is just a man with routine Marine trainings, Black Widow training transcends that.

I think Marvel is planning on developing a Black Widow solo movie.

The Punisher s2 was awesome, bloody, gruesome and very satisfying as usual. This series just doesn't disappoint. Action filled from the get go, all the way to the end. Simply a masterpiece.

I still can't shake this feeling that this will be the last season of The Punisher on Netflix sad cry

I'm at episode 7 now, enjoying the ride thus far, though the momentum seem to be lost half way.

But damn, Jon Bernthal is the perfect Punisher, and if it ends up being cancelled at Netflix, I do hope Marvel keeps him in the role for future projects.

Look, I'm optimistic as the next guy, but it's futile to swim against a strong current. Okay, check this out;

You rented an expensive massive land space. When the contract was drawn, it is stipulated that you have the right to the land and can grow whatever you want on it, at least, until until the lease runs it's course. All good and proper, until the adjorning lands also owned by your leaser suddenly became your direct competitors. To make matters worse, a big part of the land you leased isn't as fertile as was promised. Suffice to say, you're making more loss than profit. So what will you do? Will you press on and incur more loss, or cut your losses and move on?

Fact is The Punisher isn't making a lot of splash for Netflix audience-wise. According to Metacritic, subscribers that subscribed for the first season outnumbered the ones that subscribed for the second, exponentially. Fact is The Punisher is in a decline, not helped by the swords of damocles hanging over it's head. So why should Netflix further invest in a show that it not only pays significant amount of money to produce, but one that has become a financial cesspool?

Bro, I'm more and more certain that The Punisher won't survive the latest season with every passing minute.
Yeah I grab the analogy.

And if the subscriber ratings are down compared to Season 1? Then that seals it then, it would just end up being a financial burden if Netflix continues. Well it was fun while it lasted.

Did i ever mention that you guys hate DCEU characters? Why are you pulling assumptions from your ass?

Now, you are the one being dumb by bringing in Portugal( international jersey) that has no correlation with Barca/madrid or the La liga example.

There are 2 major comic universe which is Marvel and DC, Lets say they are ( Barca and Madrid) for easy breakdown.

Now Batman is exclusive to DC and cant be featured as a major character in another comic universe. Same for our C. Ronaldo example, you cant just fabricate the international jersey excuse cos is not related in the rivalry in the la Liga between Barca and Madrid. Simply put, the international Jesery excuse doesnt exist and not valid.

Now, liking a character is no big deal, but idolizing the character makes one a closet fan of that comic universe.
Obviously you have the IQ of stones.

I stopped reading when you typed Portugal has no correlation, with the same Cristiano Ronaldo you brought up? Smh

See the nonsense you are talking about Batman, comic universe, exclusively DC bla bla bla,, you sound like a confused prepubescent girl.

Typical marvel fanboys.

You like a character to the extent that you use him on your twitter page and more like an idol is what?

Is just like saying you are a barca fan but wearing a christiano ronaldo Real madrid t-shirt because you like him. undecided
Typical DC fanboys throwing logic out of the table.

When would you get it that no one hates DC characters but their disastrous representations in the DCEU? How this excapes you is just mindblowing.

And don't be dumb, as a Barca fan if I like Ronaldo I would buy and wear his International Jersey not Madrid's Jersey, same Madrid that betrays the essence of what Ronaldo stands for.

In simple terms Ronaldo= DC character, Madrid Jersey= DCEU, Portugal's Jersey= DC comic books.

Now make your peace with the dude's opinion and stop trolling, eating your own "L's" along the way undecided

I want them to, but thing is, from a business POV, Netflix will be a sucker to want to continue being a free advertising bridge for a rival service that owns the merchandise 100% and would deny Netflix leasing rights anytime they want to. Financially and business integrity speaking, Netflix has more to lose than to gain, and Disney contrastry, has all to gain. Hence, cancelling The Punisher too remain a wise course of action for Netflix.

Yeah it makes sense, considering Netflix is carrying out the chore of cleaning its house of its Marvel Shows, moving away from the model under which they signed the deal in the first place which all centers on The Defenders, but that's the thing, The Punisher was never part of The Defenders, and the characters of The Defenders won't be appearing in a rival streaming service anytime soon. So I just feel Netflix should take up this chance and milk the cow which is The Punisher dry before then.
