See, Crossbones may not actually get my attention. My Villain selection is weird; having the likes of Joker, Ultron (due to Stark's hand in its creation) Uchiha Madara (in Naruto- if you the cartoon),Magneto, I don't see Crossbones in that category.

He may actually impress me though.

First with the Cap America ish, I had watched what was supposed to be the first trailer and Taskmaster was firing at Cap, so me not seeing him there was..... Surprising.

I have seen the trailers for both Captain America-Civil War and X-men Apocalyse.

For Captain America, I knew it was going to boil down to a 'fist' fight between the Cap and Iron-man. However, I think the main surprise is that I don't see Taskmaster anywhere ( was the first trailer by Marvel a joke?) Cos I was made to believe that Taskmaster was at least a bit important in this movie.

As for the plot, I could see where the issue comes in. Despite all that Cap has done, I felt that some people will still be afraid of him and those ones would have ran a campaign which would have led to the Reg. Stuff. Add the fact that Bucky is already a wanted fugitive (which despite the fact that he was brain-washed by Hydra still remains), then Captain's protection of him will always give the Registration thing more ground. Well, shame but I think Iron-man is holding back too much in the fight I saw (at least in the trailer)

Wonder where Nick Fury was during this time, he usually gives the Cap well-timed advice on issues like this.
As for X-men Apocalypse, well, I am not surprised by all the changes- considering that in Days of Future Past, the time-line of the world changed (since Mystique did not to kill Dr Trask, killing any reason for the sentinels to exist). Am kind of disappointed with the Mohawk hairstyle of Storm (preferred her flowing hair).

Am curious about Psylocke, but I have to admit that they made Nightcrawler cute with his blue skin. Would like to see who will be in the new Xmen team and would love to see how Xavier will get bald, lol.
In all, they did enough to make people hungry for the movie.

You missed out on really good films and believe me, they were not all cheesy, some gritty stuff came out from those old films, where did you think film noir came from? Humphrey Bogart as the hard boiled PI Philip Marlowe. The quintessential gangster-speak of the 30s thanks to Edward G. Robinson & James Cagney's portrayals of gangsters - "look here see", "see listen here copper" etc. Cat on a Hot Thing Roof is certainly not cheesy, it's basically one night at a rich family's house with more problems than you could shake a stick at. Mendacity is a big theme of the film, mendacity means lying.

I really enjoyed old black and white films, The Maltese Falcon being one my favourite films, along with Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (that wasn't B&W), I even got my sister into the latter film. That's where I first heard the word "mendacity". I'll stop now before I start waxing all poetic about musicals, Humphrey Bogart and Gene Kelly. I even watched some episodes of the original Mission Impossible...

Is it wrong, that I kept hoping he'd take his shirt off and leave it off for the whole duration of the film? Henry Cavill looks like a proper rugby man, he really does have the body of superman and can also pull the gentle giant trope when needed.

Dang,I guess that's one of the reason I probably disliked him ,he's got the perfect body likened to a greek god . MOS was nothing to write home about,but damn he did get the Superman physique right,no muscle pad in the suit,just sheer muscles.

After watching Ex Machina, I'd watch Alicia Vikander in anything, if I remember correctly I already did, she was in the disappointment that was seventh son (I can't remember the rest of the name).

UPDATE: Richard E. Grant, a British actor, who's a teetotaller (doesn't drink a drop of alcohol, plus he actually has a medical condition) basically played a drunk, Whitnall in Whitnall & I. He went all in and drank like a fish to get the experience. Although, the director did have a hand in that, but he still agreed.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E is certainly one of the most stylish films I've ever seen & also probably the most stylish [vanilla] film Guy Richie has ever directed, but it didn't really change the spy genre. Bearing in mind, I've actually watched the original tv series (I'm not that old,I just liked really old stuff, I used to live on TCM AND Cartoon Network when I was younger) .

I think I really liked the film because I liked the actors and it does have potential. Although, I did find it odd that a Brit was playing an American, an American was playing a Russian, a Swede was playing a German and Hugh Grant playing Hugh Grant for 10 minutes. Plus, Armie Hammer will forever be a weird name, regardless of how many times I see or hear it.

Maybe since non of them can come up with something near or better than the Bourne series.

Even the spy books I read sef are no where near.

Can be very annoying, I usually just stop watching such but again, there are times the movie is too interesting you would want to just manage.

Ya,most times when doing the 'manage to watch',I always never make it all the way through(no matter how the film sweet me ,cus I won't be able to avoid eye movement on the rubbish subtitle ) .When I'm watching movies,everything needs to be perfect,any slight glitch I won't take it.

For the emboldened, I don experience am tire. But the thing is, we sometimes download the wrong subtitle files for our movies. I was downloading movies (very recent ones) some days ago, and happened to stumble upon a 2012 movie, the expatriate. Where problem come dey na say to get the exact file for brrip encoder. I download like 10 and yet I never get the exact one with the correct synchronisation. I ended up getting it though after much trials.

There are two things would should note in downloading subtitle files. One is the fact that, you can actually sync a subtitle file to your movie by adding extra seconds or removing extra seconds from it depending on whether the words are sounded after the subtitle or before. This is not always easy though because it takes lots and lots of tinkering to get the point of equilibrium. The second fact is this; when getting a subtitle file, make sure you get one that matches the encoder of your movie title. If you visit sites like subscene or subtitles.org, they will give a note besides each subtitle files about which encoder it matches. Sometimes they will write 'perfect for all brrips' or perfect for all HDrips and WEB-DL and so on...

So, in cases where getting the exact file is a trouble, I will just head to one of the aforementioned sites and download the right subtitle file according to my encoded video type which happens to be mainly 720p BRRip, 720p WEB-DL or 720p HDRip.

Going by your logic the producers of Jurassic World must have been crazy not to cast "Real Dinosaurs" for the movie right (Oh might I point out Jurassic World made over $1.5Billion? ) ,they should have gotten a real Indominus Rex(a dinosaur that never existed), formed from the mix of raptors & a T-Rex,to star in the movie instead of using CGI,how silly they are .smh

If these so called 'over-bloated cgi' movies are making billions of dollars,then how are the 'movie lovers' seeing pass it Even the Transformers movies still cross the billion dollar mark with ease. Do you think they cram cgi in on baseless thinking? Its more or less they don't have a choice,and that's the only route they can take .

Do you even know the essence of cgi? Its bringing the impossible to life. CGI is safe to work it,practical effects are too dangerous to work with compared with Computer Generated Effects(it doesn't wear the actors down). In this present age,you hardly hear of deaths of stunt doubles,or big damages done on movie sets all bcus of the 'realism' factor unlike the 90s.

So dude,try to see things from another perspective.
