Sir, Please I have just applied for a job with IITA, would it be possible to shed more light on what the recruitment process is like ? Does the having to know an insider rule also apply in this case ? I applied on the website and I do not know any one working there. Thanks and God bless. elevatedblog: |

Thanks everyone. I picked up my visa today at Ikeja. I got the mail on Sunday and had my interview on the 25th. I forgot my collection slip at home and went there with a printout of the email only for the security man to ask for my slip. I couldnt even recollect what the collection slip looked like. Had to race back home pick it up and then go back to VFS Ikeja. We bless God. For all those still waiting for theirs, you would get it soonest IJN. Anyone going to Lancaster/Manchester Uni? God bless Justwise, donoms, spikesC amd Worry359 |
Please how true is it that Ikeja is not conducting interview sessions? Mine is tomorrow please. |
xkobans: Please what do you mean that there arent any more interviews in Ikeja?. Mine was scheduled for the 22nd of August. |
@SpikeC...Thanks for the help. What Uni are you going to? |
Congrats @ SpikesC. Good bless ya. Please i would be having my appointment on Thursday 21/08/2014. Please how long does the interview take and can any one kindly share a checklist here? Thanks and God bless all the contributors on this thread |
Constance!!!!. Fear God ohhh!!!! Kindly tell me where you saw Worry359 tell me how i should go about the issue? Cant you see he was more interested in telling me that i am at fault rather than offer assistance. He even had to type it in bold. constance234: You are being such a kid, what has worry359 typed wrong,he was only telling you point blank how you should go about it,you filled the form and signed so telling the ECO your school rep didn't vet the form diligently will be shooting yourself in the foot.as stated write about the mistake on a separate piece of paper and submit as it is evident you must have submitted the form online and cant edit.nobody is here to witch hunt you but to render assistance in the best way they can,if you had turned to this forum earlier maybe you wont be needing any school rep to blame now. |
Many Thanks and God bless!! GVA: Thank you SpikesC |
Thank you SpikesC @SpikesC, What if I am using my parents account? Must the money be in my own account? The money is actually in my mother's account. spikesC: You have to deposit the full maintenance fund + remaining school fees in your account for 28 consecutive days, print a statement of account covering those days and submit with your visa application |
Dear Worry359, Its obvious from your name that you have issues. You do not know me so i would appreciate if you kept your comments to yourself if you have nothing positive to say. I sent the school rep my Login details to verify that all is fine. He replied in the affirmative that there were no issues with the form, only to come back 3 days later after i had submitted and sent him the printout that i made a mistake. How is it my fault?? |
Thank you spikes. Please I dont understand this 28 days thingy. I plan to go for my Visa Interview on the 23rd of August. Can someone kindly explain this to me. I am a PG student. Bless you all! |
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen!!!. The things I am seeing on this thread is beginning to scare me. I made a mistake on my form ohhh!!!!. I selected the Yes option indicating that i had paid my fees and in another section of the form i selected yes that i had outstanding payments to be made. This error was due to the school rep who claimed he cross checked and everything was fine with my form. Please is there any way this could be remedied ? I would appreciate if the elders in the house could be please share any useful tips on how the Visa Interview might go and what may be required of me.? The school representative that i have been liaising with is not really forthcoming. See my checklist below: Offer Letter: Check CAS: Check Bank Statement: Check TB Test: Pending(Scheduled for the 19th) Visa Interview: Pending(Scheduled for the 23rd) Thank you all and God bless. |
In as much as you all claim there is no discord between the Yoruba and Ibo race, the term "Omo Ibo" and "Ajaokuta ma mu omi"is the most derogatory piece if shot ive ever heard. It is surprising to note that there is no Omo Hausa , Omo Calabar, Omo Edo. The yorubas are very learned , that i accepted but they are soo cowardly, that is why their young men cant leave their home towns in such of greener pastures. Incase you have not noticed the average ibo man in the west understand yoruba. He makes an effort to understand it, how many Yoruba men have you seen that can speak ibo. The numbers speak for themselves. Nevertheless, in 2014 some of us are still liberal, which explains why i have sisters married to Yoruba men. |
