olubams: Permit me to be a bit blunt. I went back to look at your previous post and saw that you made similar post in November 2023 which means 3 years gone and decision is yet to be made. My advice, pick one and run with it whatever comes, stand by it. Thanks |

AfahaAbia: Oga I repeat travelling abroad when you're already married is not advisable. Count your marriage over if you decide to leave your wife and travel with a tourist visa because you won't be able to get any good job with that. Just stay take care of your family till they are much older then you travel. You should have done this before getting married not now Thanks |

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate addictiv: See you see life long suffering...at the end of the day you will ask yourself... Was it worth it? 1. Europe is one of the worst places to become an illegal. If it's not an English speaking country your suffering is x10. 2. There are better ways to Japa legally with your family on a student, work, or permanent visa. Explore those options. 3. Don't believe what you see on social media, and anyone advising to become an illegal in Europe doesn't have your best interest at heart tbh. 4. Most countries have systemized their visa and passport processes to the point that you cannot even get anything including housing, a bank account, a car, a good job, healthcare.. Etc if you become an illegal. 5. The fact someone went 5 - 10 years ago and the person made it and became successful as an illegal, doesn't mean if you go now in 2023/2024 you will see similar opportunities to exploit. Policies and technology has changed many things and rules are changing everyday. 6. The options for papers you re talking about including getting married to a citizen or working with someone else's papers will put you at the mercy of someone else who on a whim can destroy you. Why would you want to do that to yourself and your family? 7. At the end of the day, you will loose your family. The people you are hustling for will move on with life without you. Then you ask yourself..... Was it worth it? |

CoronaVirusPro: Let me tell you the bitter truth!
Don`t leave without your family!
With a visitor`s visa is a no no. That route is unpredictable and comes with different unplanned circumstances. You could get stuck for longer than you expected, and your wife and kids would lose patience, if not forget you.
If you want to embark on such route, move wit your family so you can be mentally stable.
Don't let anyone sweet talk you about how easy you could legalize your stay, it is an unpredictable route okay thank u |

Thanks Gerrard59: Europe is changing its immigration policies due to the social tensions immigrants, especially if you know you know , have caused in the continent. I strongly discourage a married man or someone who lived a stable and fairly comfortable life in Nigeria from migrating via a tourist visa to Europe. The only place I can agree on is the US. Such that even if you return without a passport, the money you could/would have amassed would be worth the struggles. But Europe? Worse na Asia? You won't like it.
If you must relocate via a tourist visa and wish to remain, which is illegal by local laws, the best option is the US. Anywhere else is off-limits. In fact, you could be duped via the tourist visa issuance as na dem agents, not actual embassies, go issue you the visa. In summary, re-invest the money into your business, cut costs in your present lifestyle, and do a vasectomy to prevent having another child(ren). |

Dogalmighty17: Dem go run your wife o! Who you dey leave her for?
But on a serious note, you struggled with business over here. What gives you the confidence that you can make head way in where you intend going to? Have you considered how long it may take to bring your family over?
If you had a business that failed and somehow you have raised money to sponsor yourself abroad, why should you abandon that source? Going out is not what you think it is. thanks you |

Okay thank you pansophist: It is not a good idea. If you were single, it would have been easier.
One thing you must know is that, there are three channels immigrants use to make their stay permanent in Europe. First one is through family (eg marriage), international protection (refugees), and highly skilled (work permit, scientists) etc.
If you dont fall in any of the category above, then it is almost impossible (actually impossible) to be a permanent residence. Although another possible route that is difficult also, but possible, is if you go as a student.
But again, your pocket will be deep, as in, very very deep. It is expensive, and this route takes long. So you pick a country that makes it easier for foreign student to stay after studies, then follow that path until permanent residency. |

Thank you.. please which other processes can I use to travel legally but my budget is 5m naira Fountainofyouth: Tourist visa of what, 6 months? And after that you'll become a illegal immigrant? Why do you people like to invite problems for yourselves? Why can't you go there the right way legally then invite your family and live happily ever after? You want to become an illegal that will always stay under the radar so as not to be detected and deported, spending decades without physically seeing your family then expect your wife to remain faithful and loyal while you do countless shenanigans over there,
Oga stay in naija and hustle, you are not ripe to travel out yet. |

I don’t have any job idea to do there, planning when I get there I will look for something doing Kobojunkie: What job or business does your wife do? If you head abroad and are unable to send money him for a period, will your wife and kids be OK?
2. Do you already have a job idea or are you going their hoping something will somehow work out? Do you at least have rent for a month or two in hand? Or are you somehow expecting to find some folks to mooch off of until you find your way? |
