Religion / Re: Pastor Fatoyinbo Steps Down As COZA Pastor Pending Investigations by gwmlogistic: 11:16am On Jul 01, 2019
seunmsg:
Good riddance. Now that he has stepped aside as pastor of the church, a formal complaint should be lodged against him at FCT Police command and thorough investigation should be conducted. Every lady with a story of abuse by the pastor should be encouraged to come forward and tell their stories. At the end of the day, we want to see full prosecution of the accused if necessary.
Stepping down or not should not impede a thorough investigation and which ever party found guilty should be adequately punished. My mind is telling me there is more to all of this, fingers crossed

After the false rape accusation one frustrated Nigerian feminist actress called Dorcas Shola-Fapson laid against an innocent uber driver and also the way a Brazilian footballer Neymar Jnr was wrongly accused.

I can't just help but to say that only a foolish and dimwitted fellow will believe rape accusation and condemn the accused without any evidence or hearing the full sides of the story.

In no time soon, we'll all know the truth behind this drama.
I believe the girl a 100%, they got intimate but u cannot have consensual sex with someone at that age, I believe she brought out his cucumber and even sucked but man thats statutory rape if she is under 18.
I grew up in Ilorin same time with this girls, ask anybody that could have been around and they will tell u how this babes threw themselves at this guy.

How do lawyers even debate a subject that has no constitutional provision, the electoral act that guided 2015 elcetion was the same used for 2019 .... so how will any competent court of jurisdiction uphold the use of server. do we even have good network coverage to facilitate transmission of results around nigeria. maybe inec use glo 5G. jokes apart
OGA that is the truth " No server" the only reason inec propagated the existence of a "server" before the election was just to dissuade returning officers n party agents from discrepancies ....
its more like a psychology antics played on everyone ... back in unilorin i remembered when one saddist VC grin installed camera all round the school n lecture halls .... during exam it was hard for anyone to cheat even the lecturer could not do anyhow we all where CCTV conscious grin ... after about 2yrs student got to know the cameras were not working .. you can imagine our pain upon discovery ..ALOL kai !! cctv decor
The moral of this superstory is that the VC on his part was able sanitize the institution n facilitate effieciency.
God bless you, all this people acting like they don't live in Nigeria. Go to any government office that is computer based all you hear is no network hahahaha

The funny thing is INEC saying it has no server. Which agency has a website and doesn't have a server.?They lie like kids...trying to hide their server is actually making it obvious they've something to hide.
How can an electoral commission not have a server? How will they collate the figures and where will they store results? On work sheets?. Does that not make it even more susceptible to alterations since anyone can rewrite figures?
We all know Atiku won, but whether the judiciary will deliver is what we don't know. Its clear some elements are out to frustrate the process. And brown parcels of our treasury will be exchanging venues at will grin
Do you live in Nigeria Have you ever gone to any government establishment? I tell you that the average civil servant can't operate a computer. Check any government website and see if it's fully functional.
You don't woizzz going on hahahaha. Eventuarry

What evidence, u mean online videos showing people snatching ballot boxes or thumb printing without being able to point to what party they where voting for?

My last hope for Nigeria Democracy was on a Strong and independent Legislature that will be the voice of the Nigerian People , Its Unruly for the Executive to greatly influence the outcome of the legislative Organ of Governance

The hypocrisy of Nigerians stink to the highest heavens. The same party that is calling for a renegade to be a SP so as to deepen democracy was in power for 16yrs and had a rubber stamp senate President for those years. In fact they kept changing them like house boys, once one of the nass leaders see things from a different perspective you are a goner. They praised David Mark(rubber stamp personified) to the high heavens but today will fight tooth and nail against someone who wants to do same. How is that even reasonable
I have always said that problems of Nigeria are not it's leaders but Nigerians itself, before you become a leader you are a Nigerian first. Our leaders are a mirror image of the average Nigerian.
Let the majority have their way

For 16good years nass was controlled by the presidency, the president (s) kept changing SP like houseboys.
Is it that you were too young then to know that Nigeria is finished or it's just plain hatred for APC.

Great!
It'll definitely improve the security
Governors we now gain more power and have control over their state security.

But elections will become more bloody.
And governors will eventually have to use their security votes as opposed to sharing it among politicians

Except you guys want to act oblivious of the fact. We all know that the LG does not have total autonomy. So, yes, the governor can sack them if he so wishes.
Besides, it was the same lack of autonomy that made Ajimobi organize election only in his last year. What has he been doing for the first 7 years?
If LG was as autonomous as you are making it look like now, you think PDP and other parties wouldn't have gone to court to challenge Ajimobi's decision not to conduct election for 7 years?
Illegality does not correct illegality. I only wonder why nobody has not taken the matter to court or constitution ammended. This will only mean that local government chairmen are house boys to the state govenor

The election was quite dubious. No other party contested throughout the state except APC.
It was a kangaroo election organized by Ajimobi to put his people in place sometimes last year. The first & only time he did LGA election in his 8 years, I think.

It was expected that Seyi would sack them.
IMO, he acted fast & well.
This could also imply that the president can sack state governors, this ain't healthy for democracy however it's the norm here and has been going unchecked since 1999

he has to get those who feel will be loyal and work for the development of the state and his reelection but I think there should be a law protecting local government officials. o think there should be a law saying they can only be removed by 2/3 of the state house of assembly
Local government chairman position is attained by elections, the governor should not have the power to thwart the will of the people. It's just like the president sacking state govenors.
But this is the norm in Nigeria, wonder why nobody has done anything about it all these while
